El Puerto Cantina and Grill — Restaurant in Staunton

The location of the restaurant made me think it would have been a fast food chain but we went in to to check it out and to my delite it was a lovely sit down full service restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was fantastic you could tell it was homemade, the portions were more than adequate. We stopped in to grab a Margarita which was absolutely delicious. We had the Keylime and the Jamaicarita. We both ordered tacos, Carnitas and Al Pastor beef. Both were great. The pico was amazing. Salsa is delicious. Chips are fresh and they have the best and most friendly staff.! Our toddler was with us after a school program and our server gifted him a paw patrol beanie. Our server definitely lacked in basic customer service skills. She was not apologetic after getting our order wrong or attentive when we asked for something. Our food was alright, but not as good as it usually is at the Waynesboro location. Araceli was not our server but interacted with our table & made the experience much better.
