China City — Restaurant in Virginia

The boss here at China City in Verona was pretty weird. He's the guy who's always cooking. There was an american girl who took my order. She was nice. She walked outside and when I tried to talk to the chinese boss, he was just very rude and weird. I couldnt eat the General Tsos. I just couldnt. It barely had any sauce. I told the boss I wanted a refund. He grabbed my arm and said * Please eat it. Ok? I work very hard* I told him to let go of my arm and give me a refund, please. He tried to grab my arm again and came from behind the counter asking what was wrong. I told him and he refused to refund. He claimed nothing is wrong. and repeated he worked hard several times. I felt kind of bad for him. He seems a little desperate. I told him if he didnt give me a refund at least add more sauce. He even refused to do that. I just threw the stuff away. Left pretty mad, to be honest. That boss needs to stop grabbing people and he probably does work hard but he did a terrible job on the General Tsos he served me. I don't recommend this...

The food is as good as any of the thousands of other storefront Chinese restaurants across the country. We've never had anything but first rate service from the people behind the counter. The food has always been tasty and hot-from-the-wok. No complaints.

If you're looking for a life-changing Chinese cuisine experience, try Charlottesville or DC. If you're looking for good Chinese food just up the road, China City keeps its promises.

Very poor. My kids and I stopped in. Placed order on their form and went over order with the guy( who was being a jerk ). Then went to food lion for couple of things. Went back and picked up order, already had totaled. Get home and order is screwed up. I call and tell him. I asked for credit. Said no. Then said didnt charge for items left off. While on phone i add up and find he charged $5 over anyway. Total he had didnt match their price sheet. Plus over $5. If go there, good luck. Check...
