La Neveria Michoacana — Restaurant in Virginia

This place is a bit different from the one in Woodbridge. For the mangonadas, this place only served it in a large cup and I wanted a small since I usually get it in Woodbridge but they didn't give me a choice. They spoke Spanish even though I spoke English which they should know not everyone speaks Spanish. Also, there was a baby carrier in plain sight of the customers view and honestly I'm not sure if a baby was in it or if the baby was even in the back of the store which would definitely violate the business practices. Gloves are not used when scooping out items from the containers or handing the customers food items and that is so disgusting. During this COVID19, every business needs to be sanitary and clean especially since the ladies are handling cash as well as not washing their hands or wearing gloves to serve customers. Please train the workers properly so they will not be reported to the health...

Terrible service here I will never come back and I would not recommended this location at all go to the one in Woodbridge! I was in a crave of a banana split and I was in the area so decided to drive here and try this location out the lady appears to not have any knowledge in her job! she did not know how to make a simple banana split and I believe she made my banana split with frustration or anger! Because at the end it didn’t look like a banana split! I was pretty upset and frustrated will not come back and on top of that the way they have there lines set up is a disaster multiple people ordering on top of you rather in Woodbridge location it is not like that you order then the next person behind you and so on… this place disgustes me!!! I will never come back here again!!! I will stay with the one...

The ice cream is definitely tasty and there is a wide variety of other desserts to choose from. The store also has a very nice appearance.

However it is very hard and confusing to order, especially if you don't speak/understand Spanish as some of the employees seem to be unable to speak/understand English.

In addition the ice cream flavors aren't labelled well, the flavors menu (which isn't on the wall, its a paper employees give to you once you walk up) is not consistent with the ice cream flavors you actually see. Labelling definitely needs to be improved in order to improve...
