20251021 I finally made it! My pup had cataract surgery down the street at MedVet, and that's why I drive into Manassass. The second I walked in, Damean, the owner, greeted me. Damean was amazing! I felt so welcome, and the rum cake and ice cream he picked out for me to sample were all to my liking!! I love that the cakes are so moist and fresh, and they have a nice aroma of rum flavor, and it doesn't overpower the other flavors in the cake. The German Chocolate Rum Cake is the best, reminds me of the one my coworker makes, without all the sugar from the shredded coconut icing. The cake just melted in my mouth with such a nice cocoa flavor and a hint of Rum. I usually don't eat chocolate cake, and now, this is an exception. The Coffee and Cream has a yummy Mocha flavor, and it would pair great with a creamy coffee, chai latte, hot chocolate or just ice cream. I'm trying to lose weight, and skipped the cream pairing. The pineapple tasted tropical and fresh, although I don't drink... It sounded good sipping coconut rum with the pineapple rum cake. I tried a few others, and instead of getting 1 as I originally intended, I got 3. 😋 Now, the homemade ice cream... oh my goodness!! I'm not getting ice cream anywhere else!! I love that Damean's homemade ice cream is light and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. I usually don't eat more than a scoop, because ice cream is usually too sweet for me to eat more than that. With Damean's homemade ice cream, I could eat 2 or 3 scoops! The cookie and cream is amazing, and it is a flavor that I would never order elsewhere. The passionfruit and the strawberries were so good, I ordered them to share with my pup in the car. I spotted Caramel Bourbon on the board on my way out, and Damean gave me a sample. It reminded me of the Bourbon ice cream that I had in Kentucky. Once I finished the ice cream in my freezer, I'm going to get some Caramel Bourbon and Rum Raisin to go! The ice cream I got came in perfect timing. My pup who had cataract surgery last week is also diabetic. Her glucose level dropped to the 40s when I returned to the car. She loves high quality ice cream. She loves Damean's homemade ice cream!! Doggie Approved!! The ice cream brought her glucose back up, whew!! I will be back... and forget about the other bundt cake places 😉. Plus, I love supporting...

Yesterday, my daughter and I stumbled upon a gem of a place that left us with such a warm and unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. They welcomed us with open arms and immediately offered us samples of their ice cream — not just for me, but for my one-year-old daughter as well! She absolutely loved it, and I couldn't resist grabbing a couple of extra cookies along with our ice cream.

The staff’s kindness went above and beyond. After chatting with them for a bit, I mentioned it was my wife’s birthday. Fast forward a couple of hours, and I brought my wife in to enjoy the treats. Not only did they have the perfect rum cake ready for her, but they also surprised her with a thoughtful birthday treat! It was such a sweet gesture that truly made her day.

This is 2hrs from me but I made the trip 2yrs in a row for my husband's bday so he can have an authentic taste of home. 🇯🇲 Treats are superb in freshness and flavor and customer service is top notch as well. The owner makes everything on site-NOT shipped in from a factory and tossed in a microwave. Dont we get enough of that elsewhere? I miss the taste of fresh food made with love and care. This place is a jewel! Today I got the pistacio cake w/Irish creme, rum cake w/caramel drizzle topped w/nuts and 2 pineapple upside down cakes. Only other thing I came for was the rum raisin ice cream but when I saw they had grape nut I had to get a quart of each! 🤤🤤Omg the cakes were so moist w/just the right amount of sweetness and the ice cream was sooooo smooth and creamy! In short, all was delectable and totally worth the trip! Wished we lived closer! Thanks for being so welcoming to all...
