I have been eyeing this little shop for months now, and I must admit I regret not going sooner. This little bistro is immaculate — you could tell within the first 10 seconds of your arrival that they prioritize cleanliness. Aside from that, the ladies working behind the counter are so sweet and welcoming — I always get nervous walking up to random restaurants for some reason but these ladies made me feel right at home.
We ordered the asado and salchica sandwiches paired with a smoothie and cappuccino. The food and the drinks were outstanding! The sandwiches were the perfect size and flavor I seek from breakfast sandwiches. The cappuccino was a million times better than Starbucks; it was creamy and perfectly balanced. The smoothie was dairy free and delicious. We loved it so much we already planned to go back for an early dinner today.
My one suggestion is that they should open a little longer. I usually don't crave lomo saltado and other entrees they have until dinner time – which is past their closing time. I understand this is a tough time for restaurants so it is not that big of a deal.

Read moreI have been to almost every Peruvian restaurant in Virginia and this place was pretty disappointing, the staff is nice and I ordered a chicharron which was pretty good, but I also ordered a ceviche which was bad, the fish was squishy and had a weird taste, my favorite plate is ceviche so this was sad. Then I went up to pay and asked for a pack of their afrijoles, thinking these can’t be bad it’s just a Peruvian desert cookie, but I was wrong, it tasted outdated like it’s been sitting there for weeks, I’m not picky but I know the difference between a good and bad plate. This place has potential to be way better, hope they can change...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I would not recommend. I needed help with their breakfast choices (because I’m not Peruvian and it all seemed strange) When I asked my questions, the lady there completely ignored all of my questions. I repeated my questions again and she responded by saying “I don’t have time to answer your questions. Are you gonna order or not ?”
I did not eat breakfast at Lima Coffee Shop because they were rude and lacked customer service. Instead I went to Grind n Crepe in Occoquan (5-7 mins away) They were kind and respectful to me and provided kind help navigating their...
