If I could give this establishment a negative I would! The ONLY reason why it even gets 1 star is due to the only employee there that has any actual experience in customer service. The "manager" JOE was so unprofessional and shouldn't be in the serving industry due to his lack of managing skills. I had bought a coffee and a muffin after a doctor's appointment. It's in a shopping center so it was within walking distance. When ordering my food this is when I encounter JOE. Right off the bat he gave me a bad vibe but thought nothing of it. I finally got my food and decided to eat it as there was seating area open. There was no signs that said no dine in. Anyways withing a few minutes I was approached by one of the employees and said that the area was closed off. I apologized and cleaned up and stood by the entrance. I would have gone some where else but it was raining and my phone was at 10%. Previous to this I had texted my husband to meet me there. He was about 15 minutes away. After a few minutes one of the employees approached me and asked me to wait inside right by the door as it was raining. He was kind enough to let me wait it out. Then as I was on the phone with my husband I was approached by JOE and another employee. He rudely told me to leave and so did the employee behind him. Why did he need back up I don't know. I had explained to him that my husband would be here any minute. He refused that answer and suggested I go to the laundromat. I asked why if there was no one there and I had my mask on. I wasn't bothering anyone. Because of that answer he got more agitated and threaten to call the cops. At this point I stepped out of my character and stooped to his level of ignorance. I approached the register to ask for corporates phone number as I had enough only to hear JOE laugh with the rest of the employees. He didn't realize I was standing behind him. When I asked for corporates number he grabs a paper bag and throws it on the counter. Which didn't have it. Then he grabs a plastic cup and actually hands it lol As soon as he knew he had royally messed up. Boy did he get ugly. He threaten to call the cops. He was so upset that he stormed off to the back of the kitchen. All the employee were telling him to calm down. The only gentleman that cared enough kept on apologizing. I couldn't believe that a manager who's suppose to be someone to de escalate the situation ESCALATE it. Showing his employees that's the way to behave. I hope corporates makes him an example. McDonald's is where alot of our youth go to as their first jobs. If this is where my son was working and had JOE as a manager I would be highly concerned at his childish behavior and attitude. I wanted to give Joe the benefit of the doubt that MAYBE he was just having a bad day. So I hope Joe sees this and knows I'm not mad. I was super upset too. Read moreA few weeks ago I took advantage of McDonald's five dollar meal deal (double burger or chicken sandwhich with 4nuggets, fries and a coke. Not bad for $5. I knew this was a limited time deal so I thought I would take my grandchild out for lunch but before going I opened the McD's website to check to see if they were still offering the deal. Big ad for the deal was featured prominently on the webpage. So, armed with that information we headed out to McDs. When we got there the guy behind the counter said nope that deal is over. I told him I had checked the website before coming in and it was still featured on the site. He shrugged and said not here, but, he said, if you use the app you can still get the deal. So, I spent some time downloading the app and figuring out where the deal was on the app. Couldn't find it so went back to the counter and the guy fooled around with the app and finally said here it is. So, I went to order for my grandson and myself, but wait, the deal is only good for one order. I had already paid for one and was trying to get another order accepted through the app, but was told I would have to wait sometime (not sure how long) before I could order again. Read moreThis location has gone downhill tremendously in the last year. I am for everyone having a job, but if the people hired are not able to read, this becomes and issue. I would say 90% of the time when we request rootbeer, we are given Dr. Pepper. This wouldn't be a huge issue but the Dr. Pepper always tastes flat and I prefer rootbeer. Special requests are usually never fulfilled correctly. And that wouldn't be an issue either if I weren't being upcharged for these changes and then they dont do it. For example, ordering a burger with NO onions but adding extra cheese and getting a burger with NOTHING on it. No cheese, no pickles, no ketchup, etc. And honestly if they were busy I could see things like this happening on occasion but not 90% of the time. Perhaps the people seen standing around, playing on their phones should jump in and help. This happens quite often too. The evening shift is 10x worse, when people are usually acting crazy, yelling and not really handling themselves in a way someone who is on the clock should be acting.
