McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

In 2025, it would be expected that an employees personal feels on ethnicity or relationship status would not be a factor on the service that they provide. Sadly, that was not the case in our situation being an interracial couple. The employee who took our order had an attitude when doing so. When our food was prepared she almost threw it at us and told us to have a great day. I returned to ask for ketchup as there is not dispenser, this same employee blatantly ignored me and began handling other tasks. The conversation she was having with another employee could have possibly been about myself and my significant other but I do not wish to assume as she was whispering and loudly exclaimed that was, "how I feel about that," not long after giving us our food. Eventually, someone else assisted me. We were sitting close enough to continue to hear her interactions with other customers. Those who were Caucasian she was pleasant to, had a nice tone and called them love, as well as asking other accommodating questions. Another gentleman came in of a different ethnicity carrying his tiny son and he too did not receive this syrup sweet kindness of Caucasian customers. It's disgusting and disturbing that a high traffic location such as this would have someone so poorly adept at treating people with equality. Through observation of her interactions, it is apparent that she has racial bias. We were unable to get her name because she did not have a name tag on however, it seemed like she could have been someone of leadership based on behavior and appearance as she had on a red shirt...

Stopped for breakfast this morning, 8/22/2016 , and ordered 2 steak, egg, and cheese biscuits and a large vanilla iced coffee... as I sit here in the "waiting lane" waiting for my food I ponder the conversation between myself and the moron running the drive-thru and figured i would share the experience so everyone else can get a laugh. I will label the conversation, M is me and D is the drive-thru girl. D. Welcome to McDonald's can i take your order? M. I'd like 2 steak egg and cheese biscuits and a large orange juice. D. Our orange juice comes in a bottle, is that ok? M. On second thought, just give me a large vanilla iced coffee instead. D. So thats 2 bacon egg and cheese bagels and a large sweet tea? M. No 2 steak egg and cheese biscuits and a large vanilla iced coffee D. Gives me the total and tells me to pull to 2nd window.

D. So youre the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a coffee? M. No... 2 steak egg and cheese biscuits and a large vanilla iced coffee... D. Pull up to the 1st lane, we are waiting on steak

I guarantee my order is not right, and I wrote this entire review while waiting for 15 minutes at 7am... And in STILL...

WE WERE GOING TO GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU,BUT DIDN'T, BECAUSE I MY FE'ANCE NEEDED TO GO INSIDE AND US THE RESTROOM !!!!!!! I STAYED IN THE CAR WHILE HE DID ,AND THEN HE GOT OUR ORDER AND BROUGHT IT OUTSIDE AND WE ATE IT IN THE CAR ,NEAR THE PICNIC TABLES ,SINCE THE DAY WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND THE SUN ☀️ WAS SHINING BRIGHT 🌞!!!!!!! I HAD FOUND A BAG OF TRASH THAT SOMEONE HAD PUT UP ON A POLE, INSTEAD OF THROWING IT IN THE 🗑️ TRASHCAN,I DIDN'T SEE A 🗑️ TRASHCAN ANYWHERE,NUT THERE WAS A YOUNG MAN THAT WAS AN EMPLOYEE,WHOM WAS USING A SPRAYER TO WASH DOWN THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING AND SIDEWALK,SO I TOLD HIM ABOUT ME FINDING THE TRASH,BUT NOT SEEING A 🗑️ TRASHCAN,SO HE SAID THAT HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT AND HE TOOK IT FROM ME , AND THEN VERY POLITELY SAID; THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND HAVE A VERY GREAT DAY MAME !!!!!!!
