Worst McDonald's in the area I've experienced in a long time, by far. I'm sure it's fine when there isn't a problem but when there is the staff can't or won't communicate with the customer. 👎👎 A delivery order came through right before they were opening this morning. I arrived at 5:55am and the lobby was open. I gave both employees there the order # they said they hadn't gotten it yet because they are not fully opened until 6am. 15 minutes later I'm still sitting there waiting, I gave them plenty of time to get opened and get set up although that should have already been done long before 6am. I flag one of the employees I previously spoke with to check on how things are going. She said she didn't get my order. why wasn't I told this after they got the computer up 15min earlier since they knew why I was there? She then looks at the order on my phone screen, says "ok" and started making what appeared to be my order. A bacon egg cheese bagel combo. So I am under the impression she's going back to make my food because she never stated otherwise. After another 5 minutes I asked her what's going on because she gave that food to someone else and she says she doesn't have my order. We've established this 🙄, so are they going to help or not? I escalated it with the app at this point and was instructed how to get my customer's order. I told her I've gone through app support and explained and showed her on my app how to redo the order for me. It shouldn't have been anymore than confirming the order initially but whatever. Super easy instructions but she refused to do it, she just kept saying "I know but no order here". Seriously? 🙄 I don't think she understood a word I was saying. 30 minutes wasted including travel from rt3 to the restaurant then back to my area. There was another lady there whom I initially spoke with, I think could she could understand and she knew why was there but she never checked back in to make sure that things were being done or even to say hey flat out "we aren't going to do your order don't waste your time". Ordered through the app after getting off of working an overnight shift 6 1/2 months pregnant, this location is right next to my job so I decided why not since it’s on my way home. I ordered a McGriddle meal with an extra hash brown on the side and a large strawberry milkshake, it’s also worth noting that I ordered through the app as table service so it was supposed to be brought to me, it was not. My number got called and they set out a paper to go bag with my food in it and a plastic cup on the side so I go up to the counter and I asked about my milkshake, they told me the milkshake machine was down. Okay, whatever, I ask if there’s any ice cream products available and he told me he would check and comes back to say that the only thing he can make me would be any of their McCafe items, so I got a large caramel frappe. Looking further into it, the McDonald’s app says that they mark items as unavailable to prevent people from buying items that are either out of stock or unavailable, so if both the shake and ice cream machine was down then why was I able to buy it through the app? It was a $2.60 up charge for the shake and I can’t get a refund for that money unless I talk to the store directly but I had already accepted the frappe as a replacement. I know McDonald’s has a bad reputation with their ice cream machines, but if you’re going to lie about them not working then the very LEAST you could do is make sure I don’t spend my money on a product that “isn’t working”
