We used our 50,000 rewards points for the Deluxe Platter Box to treat office staff. I redeemed our points first. I found the website difficult to understand and after much frustration, I called our Berea store. A nice young man tried to take the order but with sandwich choices, bread, with and without items, etc., I decided to just drive the few miles over. He explained that there are 5 sub choices and 20 sandwiches. As it was now 10:30 a.m., I decided to place the order for the next day as several hours advance notice is needed for catering. We went to pick them up at noon and was told it would be 15 minutes more so we waited in the car. I should have called. We were getting a little aggravated as 20 minutes passed but a man brought our order out and said that tuna has to be made fresh daily, 2 of our 5 choices were tuna, and he apologized. He was so nice about it, we got the $59 platter with points, and everyone enjoyed the free lunch so I still gave 5 stars. As evident by our 50,000 points, we visit this store often and have never...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped by firehouse subs yesterday after a prenatal appointment. As many pregnant women know you canāt eat deli meat unless it is heated to steaming hot, firehouse is one of the only sub places that steams the sandwich meat.
Given the recent boars head scandals I asked for my meat to be double steamed, the blonde teenager at the till said āno problemā but didnāt make a note on my receipt. My sandwich came out cold, while my husbands was steaming hot.
We also ordered in and had 4-5 other orders come out before our food did.
Extremely disappointing and especially so when this was one of the only deli meat sandwiches I could have. Extremely poor service from the women at the location.
Absolutely do not come here especially if you are pregnant and want a sub, they will absolutely risk getting you sick and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirehouse subs always has wonderful food. However, on a Sunday at lunch hour, we waited for our food to be made for over 35 minutes. There was little in the way of an apology, just a complaint that a few guys called in sick. If you have such a long wait, you should advise your customers before they pay and wait such a long time. I sent a review to FS headquarters and got a backhanded apology from the manager in which she lied and made up another excuse for the lack of staff. The better way to handle this would have been to offer free chips and drinks to those waiting so long, or offer a free sub in future to get them back. The power also then went out, so we couldn't even ask for a refund once we were so annoyed from the wait. I'm more annoyed with the way it was handled vs. the...
