This place was not easy to find at first. Had to do a uturn. The parking lot is behind the bakery. When you go in you take a right to sit inside and a left to go into the shop. It's a cute shop with lots of things to buy. I had a lot of issues with them not putting an expiration date or even an Amish code. I asked the employee how old was the two cakes I had were. She told me they were fresh. So I asked was it baked today? She said " no probably yesterday". So as many items how do you know which ones are old ?.. she told me to put them in the fridge and I can keep it for a week. Well my buying week or when they put it on the self ( which you have no clue if they rotated the product or how long it was on the shelf). I wanted a croissant but it felt hard. Very disappointed.

Rich, dense banana bread. Heavenly glazed cinnamon rolls of several varieties. Oh and the pies. Pies that sing to your taste buds. Combine that with owners who genuinely want to know if 'they' had everything you wanted. Notice the difference the next time you check out somewhere and someone asks (politely) if 'you' found everything you wanted. There is a humble nature in the former statement where the folks at Miller's simply want to provide the most well rounded bakery experience possible. They are more than...
Read moreI absolutely love Miller’s Bake Shop and it is a must stop any time I am in Augusta County. I have stopped here several times and loaded up on a variety of baked good. I love their Salt Risen bread and it is one of the few places that I have been able to find it. Their cake, pies and cookies are all baked fresh on site and are delicious. Their prices are very reasonable I am more than happy to drop more than a few buck at each visit. The employees are all wonderful and friendly and more than happy to help you find the goodies that you are looking for. I stop at Miller’s every time I am in the area and will...
