El Gran Puerto — Restaurant in Virginia

Never again will I vist this establishment!!! We ordered our food which came out wrong! We ordered jalisco with steak and chicken and no beans. Food came out with just steak and had beans. We didnt say anything and ate it anyway. Our waitress left half way through our meal and the next guy we got was rude as hell!! We left a tip on the table and went to pay our bill and found out it was $58!! This is outrageous for no more than we got. When paying the bill i crossed out the tip amount because we left it on the table and after checking our bank statement we found that they added a $5 tip on to our bill without our consent!!! We called the establishment and the lady on the phone even admitted that if you dont leave a tip that they will add one because they work for tips. Everyone needs to boycott this place and check your bank accounts because they are stealing money from people!! We left a tip on the table and then they added one to our bill even though we crossed it out. Totally illegal and they will be reported!! To top it off the food made us sick also!! Never go to this...

This is literally the closest restaurant to my house, but I refuse to eat there anymore. The food is bland and unoriginal, and the mixed drinks are weak. That didn't stop me from going, because of how convenient it was. The final straw was when they charged me $8.50 for a kids meal. My daughter ordered a kids meals with a cheese burrito and a taco. The burrito arrived with meat in it and I requested the cheese burrito that we had ordered. The waiter asked "Cheese sauce?" and I thought he was talking about the filling so I said "Sure". It turns out he was talking about an additional side of cheese sauce, which almost doubled the price of the kids meal. At the end of the meal when I questioned the charge he replied that that is what I had ordered. When I asked the cashier to take the cheese sauce off he replied that cheese sauce is not free like salsa. I could have argued the point further but I just paid the bill. This restaurant is mediocre, to be honest. I decided to sit outside and I was greeted by my first waitress, who got upset and abandoned me because I asked for an alcohol drink menu. The second waiter was a little more patient but he still didn't have a great attitude. My first beer that came out was soured so I had to send it back. I ordered the three birria tacos. The steak was good and seasoned well but the dipping sauce that came with it definitely lacked seasoning. The normal things that you would add to your food, like hot sauce, weren't on the table and they never offered it. I sat at my table for 20 minutes after I got my check, waiting for the waiter to come pick it up. Turns out you have to go to the register to pay. That would've been a valuable piece of information to have when the check was dropped off. I'd be in no hurry to return to...
