I'm a bit torn writing this review because I genuinely love this place and the food is consistently great. However, the staff—while kind and well-meaning—clearly struggle during busy periods. I'm speaking from experience, having worked and managed in BOH, and this isn’t the first time I’ve noticed it.

Today stood out in particular. There didn’t seem to be a manager or lead on duty, and the staff looked completely overwhelmed by the volume of orders. I only ordered two rolls—figuring they were prepped and just needed a quick toast—but it still took 45 minutes. The team seemed disorganized, and communication was minimal. There were several quick orders that could’ve been cleared right away if someone had been coordinating.

Eventually, the girl at the register began warning customers of a 30-minute wait due to a five-screen backlog, but nothing was done differently to address it. No triaging of simpler orders, no shift in strategy. One staff member even looked at the screen and asked, "Why are those red?"—meanwhile, the line of cars outside and the packed store made it clear why.

I completely understand that not everyone is equipped to handle a rush, especially without experience. But that’s exactly why a manager or a shift lead is crucial—to guide, delegate, and keep things moving. These young women were clearly doing their best, but they needed help, structure,...

This coffee shop is truly a gem—an absolute must every time I’m in town. It’s not just about the coffee (though it’s some of the best I’ve ever had); it’s about the whole experience.

Everything is incredibly fresh. From the moment you walk in, you can smell the difference. The pastries are baked fresh daily—flaky, soft, and just the right amount of sweet. Their juices are made on the spot and taste like they came straight from the farmer’s market. And the coffee? Perfection. They grind their beans fresh for every single espresso and drip coffee order. You can taste the quality in every sip.

It’s the kind of place where you slow down and savor, whether you’re catching up with a friend or just taking a quiet moment to yourself. The service is warm and welcoming, and you can tell the team there puts love into everything they do.

Absolutely awesome coffee and bakeries. We were on vacation and ended up making sure we passed by Moxie several times. First time for just coffee, the typical oat milk latte. Liked the latte so much we had to go back but this time the register employee suggested we try Blackberry and White Chocolate oat milk latte and HOLY we were hooked! Came back all three of our remaining days to try that latte hot and cold, both were amazing. We tried several of there bakery options and loved them all, especially the apple turnover, jalapeno cheese roll, and caramel pecan roll. We also had the lemonade which was fantastic as well.
