This place was okay, not the best but not the worst in the area.
Me and my SO came to eat clearly on a date, and we were sat right next to a group of 10 (a loud group mind you) and couldn't even hear each other talking. Mind you there was an entire other side of the restaurant occupied by a few other couples being quiet, so there wasn't much reason we should've been in the same room. The acoustics aren't too great either, so sound bounces around and ends up louder than it should be, making the environment a little uncomfortable.
The food, however, was pretty good and not too hard on the stomach afterwards (which Mexican usually is anyway). The food and wait service is worth the 3 stars, but the environment and acoustics of the building make it only enjoyable to visit if it's not busy. When it is it quickly becomes a room where you can't hear yourself even with only a small family or two in the same...
Read moreOrdered carry out for dinner on Cinco de Mayo, vegetarian fajitas and combo fajitas plus a large cheese dip with chips. Considering it's likely one of their busiest days of the year, they answered the phone right away and our food was ready for pick up in about 15 minutes. Friendly, efficient service even though they were busy enough that people were waiting for tables to open for seating. The food was fresh, hot, plentiful and well packaged for take out. The only small downside was it could have been seasoned more. We like spicy, so I should have asked for it to be prepared with some kick, which I didn't. Fortunately we're well equipped at home to remedy that so it was all very good. We had enough food for dinner that night and the next. The bill was about $50 plus a $10 tip for the kitchen staff who were doing a great job on a...
Read moreCame here for the first time today and amazing is all I can say. The chicken in their quesadillas were moist, fresh and not overly seasoned. The cheese sauce was the perfect consistency that coats the chips perfectly but isn’t so runny that it just pours off of the chips. The guacamole was so fresh and flavorful with a slight zing on the end it was hard to stop. Don’t forget their fried cheese cake… it was like eating a cheese cake stuffed churro which finished off our amazing meal so well! We had the most amazing service and large portions at an amazingly affordable price. By far the most superior Mexican restaurant in the Shenandoah valley area than any other Mexican restaurant…. Not to mention they are also open on FRIDAYS for those of us who have had...
