New Town Creamery — Restaurant in Virginia

The food and ice cream are great. There's a good variety of ice creams on the menu. The only thing is the wait times. Service has been super slow.

I last ordered both food and ice cream. From the line, I figured I'd be waiting about 15 minutes for my order to be ready, maybe 20 minutes at most.

It took about 25 minutes to get my ice cream, and then about another 30 minutes to get the food. Waiting an hour for a simple order was ridiculous.

The cluster of people waiting on their food was twice as big as the line of people waiting to order. They were taking forever on the actual food orders. Multiple customers went up to the window to see if their orders were still on the way. Better management is needed, or I'm afraid they'll lose customers.

I've been a fan of the place since they first opened, and back when it was McCoy's Dairy Bar. It's a nice spot for families and they are friendly and have consistently good quality food. I just hope the management...

A great selection of stadium style hot food, soft serve, dairy free dole whip and shaved ice at reasonable prices. I love their nachos and massive hot dogs. I’m so grateful for their dairy free options bc my toddler is lactose intolerant. I won’t buy from anywhere else now, because I want to support a business that makes a point to include those with dietary restrictions. They even offer sugar free options. Walk up window done well! This place understands what it takes to successfully run one business and sell several items in different categories with the same high quality. These fokes ought to be praised for their brilliance of taking a simple hotdog bun and elevating it to several delicious dishes like sliders, cheese and steak and hotdogs (duh). The old American feeling you get once you have a taste of their delicious ice cream or calmly listen to the old musics lyrics are a taste of patriotism...
