TL;DR - Service and food suck. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, even if it's another Taco Bell.
First of all, my family and I RARELY eat fast food, but every once in a while, one of us will get a craving for it. We would rather let a locally owned restaurant earn our money at right around the same cost.
That being said, I can understand the HIGH prices (around $9-11 per combo) because of increased wages and inflation. BUT I did see at least two warning signs I was about to get poor service while waiting for our food.
First, there was a long wait to order our food. No, not a waiting line. We just sat at the ordering board for several minutes before someone came over the speaker.
Second, I watched the seemingly stressed out looking individual taking orders and payments while delivering food handle the inside of a drink lid with his fingers. I'll eat dirt if I have to survive, but I cringed a little bit at the thought of him handling money and credit cards (and whatever else) then handling food items bare handed. Oh well.
I turned a blind eye to all of that, but the real kicker was when I brought the food home to my family after paying $32 for 1 meal (quesadilla), a couple 5 layer burritos and 3 cheesy gordita crunches. I'm not sure what the hell they did to the food in this picture, but it sure as hell wasn't a quesadilla (our 9 year old daughter took a bite before she realized it tasted disgusting).
Bottom line, they have poor service, poor food quality (yes, even for a Taco Bell) and poor food handling practices. We won't be going back here ever again. Please support local "mom and pop" establishments instead of these big corporations so they'll get the importance of good service and...
Read moreThis is probably one of the worst KFC/Taco Bell's in the area. I've been here numerous times and they always seem to get the order wrong. I can understand it happening every once in a while as mistakes happen but this place is ridiculous.
Tonight was the final try and it was my worst visit yet. I ordered 2 meals, both combos. One of the meals was for a chicken sandwich and the other for the smokey mountain bbq sandwich. I checked the bag before I left and saw 2 sandwiches and the rest of the combo. I was satisfied so I drove home.
When I got home I realized that both sandwiches were plain. Normally I'd let it go but after so many orders gone wrong I decided to go back and get the correct sandwich. My wife called ahead to let them know the issue and that I was coming back. It took her calling 3 times but someone finally answered. They answered with an attitude but they answered.
When I got there I pulled up to the drive through speaker (lobby was closed) and tell them why I'm there. "YEAH PULL UP". Attitude again. I pulled up to find 3 employees gathered around the window like teens at a Beiber concert. I tell them the issues and give back the food. One employee snickers and walks off with more attitude while the other goes back to cleaning the drink machine. Employee number 3 comes back to tell me that he inspected the food and found minimal bbq sauce so he put more on and handed us back our original sandwiches with more bbq sauce on one sandwhich.
Obviously that's not what I was expecting but at this point I'm so fed up I just smile, say "Thank you." and leave.

Read moreI will tell you this, this place had the worst service I have EVER seen. The manager was absolutely terrible and unwilling to help at first. They were out of almost everything we tried ordering. It wasnt until the window girl that took our order, was talking to us at the window is when our experience turned around. She explained how everything was going on that night and how it's been rough. I dont remember her name but she was young and had orange finger nails. Honestly this lady was the NICEST girl. She was sweet and helped out tremendously. After we drove off she prewarned us that the order would most likely be wrong.. I could hear the manager yelling at her almost the entire 10 minutes we were waiting and the girl was taking everything soo well. No disrespect, no talking back, just yes maam and no maam. Well our order was wrong, our food was so old and hard we couldnt eat what we received. We went back and explained. The manager didnt want to talk to us. But then she offered that the meal be free of charge and the girl help satisfy us aswell! I'll give this a 4 out of 5 because we did have to go back and the food was very bad at first but the service turned out awesome.
