Me and my girlfriend had driven around 20-30 minutes to get to the restaurant on 1/11/20. We arrive and the server gives us an estimated 1 hour wait time to be sat. (This was a Saturday and we understood it would take this long) we arrive at the restaurant around 6:00 at 6:50 I check what number we are in line and I get that we are second in line to be sat. We than stand inside waiting for our buzzer to go off we see several other pairs leave and then their tables just get taken by people cutting the lines. They weren't going to get us a table until 7:30 a half hour after their estimated wait time and us being called second in wait, and that is only after half ordering them myself to sit us down. My girlfriend had just wanted to leave but since they just sat us didn't say anything. We were sat. Speed wasn't an issue as a waiter immediately came and asked us what we wanted. As a 1:30 hour wait will do we asked if we could order straight away. My girlfriend asked for a bacon cheeseburger not something on the menu. She is immediately berated by the waiter for not knowing this and immediate starts yelling at how she is supposed to order it. My girlfriend is not a timid person but after a such a long wait and the instant yelling she started crying. Under such circumstances if I noticed a second sooner I would've had him laying on the ground but he had stood up still speaking in a condescending tone. I asked for the check and a manager came and asked if we still wanted the steak I ordered and I said we just wanted to leave. (Probably wasted that steak but was kinda in overprotective mode from the crying) lucky us they didn't make us pay for the sweet tea and water we all ready had... The waiter came back and gave us a half baked apology after the manager came over. We left. My girlfriend never cries in the first place much less in public. Will most likely never go to an outback again for fear that alone will cause her stress. I love their food and that teaser bread is to die for but the treatment the staff showed us pales in comparison to what is offered. Will call to head offices and managers as soon as I can. Read moreWhen we walked in we were greeted and then sat. Then our waiter came and introduced himself and was very respectful and took our drinks. Then when we’re got our lemonades they tasted so watered down you basically squeezed a slice of lemon into it and thats all the lemon flavor you get. Then when he took our food order we asked for a water instead of the lemonades and he didn’t take the lemonades off of our table the whole time. Then when our food came out my girlfriend’s steak was over cooked she wanted it medium rare and it was well done and her asparagus was hard as well. Then when my food came out the Mac and cheese wasn’t very hot and my steak wasn’t even warm and I also ordered medium rare and it came out rare so undercooked to me. I think the only thing that was hot was my rice and that’s cause they probably had just taken it out of the microwave and dumped it on my plate. I forgot to say he didn’t take our menus either so I had to put them on the seat so they were out of the way and my menu also had food crusted onto the pages that’s just gross. As for the atmosphere I couldnt even hear myself talk because the people at the bar were so damn loud I heard five different conversations at one time. Then on a completely different visit I ordered online and spent almost 80 dollars on food for it to be cold like not even close to warm. This time I spent 65 dollars and I’m very disgusted and disappointed with Outback y’all need to do better than this I mean almost 30 dollars just for my meal and for it to be cold and undercooked and then almost another 30 dollars for my girlfriend's meal to be cold and overcooked. Never coming back here again and I don’t recommend outback next time I’m...
Read moreI found that although outback is a chain it's mostly consistent pretty good and you know what to expect. However the difference with the outback location in Warrenton , Virginia is when it comes to consistency the only thing they have is that they are consistently bad. Between family and clients that I have out past Warrenton from where I live in Loudoun County, I drive by there a lot and have stopped there on numerous occasions and until tonight I keep saying it can't be that bad, it can't be this location every time. Unfortunately I think for this particular Outback in Warrenton, Virginia, it is that bad every time. Let me start with the service which is horrible, now when I get to the actual thing that they are known for which is their steaks and also it was horrible. My wife's and daughter's fillets were tough again and my steak on my steak salad was cold and also tough. At 4:30PM on a Sunday evening they ran out of mashed potatoes. The booth next to me complained about the food and I overheard them telling the manager that their steak was tough and over seasoned. I've given many reviews and this is the worst review by far I've ever given. A one star and like you've heard many people say before if they can give less then the one or half star that they are allowed to give they would. They took my last $100! I will never ever go back to the Outback located in Warrenton Virginia again. I hope someone from outback other than the folks that work in Warrenton Virginia read...
