I had a bizarre interaction with the cook and/or owner today, 9/21/23. Since I’ve been coming to this food truck, been about 2+ years now, it’s been cash only. I came yesterday and was disappointed they didn’t have what I wanted. I explained to him I had to stop at two different places to get cash and drove from far away. He said that they accepted Zelle and cash. He said to come back tomorrow (today) because they sold all 200 of the cabeza tacos.
I placed my order with no problem, when I went to pay I told the lady at the register I was doing Zelle. She looked at him and said he said it’s cash only. I explained to him what happened the day before and he got agitated with me. He said he may have said that yesterday but today it’s cash only. I should have said before I ordered my food that I didn’t have cash but Zelle. Had he said I needed to do that prior to ordering, I would have.
I would have stopped for cash as I always do had you not said anything about Zelle. It slightly off putting how upset you got at something you yourself told me. I was fortunate that another customer in line let me cashapp them so I could get my food.
While the food is good, I won’t be coming back. No sweat off your back I’m sure, I was going out of my way to support your food truck.
Update: forgot to update my review. I couldn’t stay away from the Cabeza tacos, literally the best I’ve tried yet. Was able to have a productive/effective conversation with the person the incident happened with, and I’m satisfied with...
Read moreFor those of you that are nearly focused and several of the fast food restaurants for a good taco, I beg you to turn your sites over to some of the more unique flavor offerings this area provides. Pa' Tacos El Papi is a small food truck sitting in the Bailey's crossings area that is well worth your time to stop and try. I mean come on. Yeah you've got to go and stand outside and place your order, but you will be rewarded with the flavor feast. Regrettably or on the positive side it is a minimal menu. They serve tacos. Oh, and bebidas, drinks. Beef, pork, chicken, tongue, and chorizo are more than enough to satisfy your taste buds. I ordered three chorizo tacos, and received three tacos with as much meat as six of that Bell type. Flavorful, tangy, filling, with some cilantro and onion, the corn shells were doubled up to provide support for the taste treats inside. I received a small bag with cucumber and radishes and a piece of lime. Definitely this will become a routine stop for me....
Read moreSome of the best tacos I’ve had in a while. Reminded me of the tacos I had in Mexico off of the resort. I don’t even eat onions & I tore the Al Pastor tacos up. I generally don’t like corn shells either, but everything was so good, so fresh & so hot!!! the green salsa was also amazing was great & had some spice. It was ALL worth it. & they’re reasonably priced. We got 10 tacos (different kinds) & two drinks. I’m from out of town so every time I visit this will be a spot for us.
Shoutout to their team for amazing customer service as well! We...
