Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Virginia

To be honest I order Pizza Hut when I am hungry and just need something to chew on within 45 minutes. The pizzas are okay, not bad but not great, and I do love the boneless chicken wings. Like I said most of the time they get to me within 45 minutes and I get what I ordered. The delivery charge IS a little high and kind of cancels out their online deals. They have yet to screw up my order like some other places I can name. Addition - Still doing well. Just not happy with the online tip calculator they use on their website. IT uses the delivery fee in the total which will increase your tip greatly. So if you use their tip calculator be careful. Update - Decided to order a large cheese pizza, a p'zone, and those Cinnabon@ Mini-Rolls. The Large Cheese Pizza was good. The P'Zone....well, at least they have the decently to not call it a calzone - that would have been insulting to calzones and the city of Naples. I refused to even take a photo of it. And the Cinnabon@ Mini-Rolls look nothing like they are in the online menu. But they do taste good and do remind me a LITTLE of the real Cinnabon rolls. Also they reminded me a little of the breakfast rolls my Mom made when I was a kid. So it was nice to try sometimes different and yet, at the same time, something comforting. I would suggest the Mini-Rolls if you have kids who love sugar. Update - ordered a Large Hawaiian Chicken and 8 Bone-Out chickens. Have to say I ordered it because I received a email deal from Pizza Hut so I didn't pay full price. I ordered it at 3:28 PM and they said it would arrive at 3:55 PM. Yeah, even I was doubtful that ETA and I was right. In fact it arrived more around 4:30 PM. I wouldn't be so upset about this but the Pizza Hut itself is pretty close and the bone-out chicken wings arrived cold and the pizza just barely warm to the touch. Between being late and the temperature I have to take at least another point away from their overall score. If I had paid FULL price...well, they would be at two Stars right now. Update - ordered delivery via Grubhub. Have to tell the truth - just wanted to see how well it went. They had a free-delivery deal for Fridays in August so I ordered a medium cheese pizza. Not much else you could do - the Grubhub menu does not list deals and you can't stack deals with Pizza Hut anyway. Also Pizza Hut was using its own driver for the tracking system does not work. The driver early but demanded cash until I explained I had ordered the pizza via Grubhub and had used my credit card. You can't select to use cash on Grubhub. My cousin went in here and ordered food to pick up. There was a mistake and misunderstanding as to the food ordered which was discovered after she paid for the entire order. When she asked if they can correct it the male employee who attended to her (last name might be Mr. Khan) was incredibly rude and told her that she either return the entire order as is or take it!!!!! Talk about RUDE customer service. She then asked for a manager and her told her that there was no manager available. He said to her that she has to deal with him and added that he only makes $ 7.50 an hour!!!!! She also said he kept telling her that he is tired dealing with people like her. Actually he kept repeating several times the phrase YOU PEOPLE.....see she's a woman of color and is Muslim and wears a head cover. The irony is that he's also a black man and his last name seemed also to be Muslim. She also noticed that there was another Muslim lady employee working with him so she was really appalled and confused as to why he kept referring to her as to YOU PEOPLE????? Finally she got her refund and left the food behind. Your loss...

My mom and I ordered food from here yesterday afternoon. For the third time in a row, an order of cheese sticks was not delivered with our order. My mom (Joyce Windsor) called back to get a credit placed on her credit card account. The second person she talked to pretty much treated her like she was lying and then said he would credit her Pizza Hut account. Since we have no intention of ordering from here again, she insisted on the credit being placed on her credit card account. Well, then she got disconnected. Someone from this store did call back a few minutes later and took down her credit card info, but, so far, almost 24 hours later, there is no credit to her account. That's $8 down the drain. No more. EDIT: After corporate contacted me for more information due to this bad review, my mom's credit card was finally credited for $8.50.
