I usually go to this Taco Bell, and have not had many issues. However, I tried the online app to make my order faster. I’ve never used this app in the past. I went up to the drive-through, and it said on the app that my order was ready. When I went up to the actual window the girl working there told me that it was not ready yet and to “wait “and they would prepare my food. I parked in the parking lot thinking that someone will be bringing my food. I waited a good ten minutes and no one was coming so I knocked on the door to ask them and she rudely gestured to go around to the drive-through. I didn’t understand that I was supposed to go through the drive-through again and didn’t understand why I was going through the drive-through twice when I used the app to speed this process up. Had I known that it was taking this long I would’ve just gone to the drive-through in the first place. Why would I have to go to the drive-through and wait for my food to be ready when they could’ve easily run it out to me since it was not ready? The first time I went to the drive-through she should’ve clearly explained that the order was not ready and that I needed to go through the drive-through again. When I got to the drive-through, the second time, she explained what she meant, but admitted that she should’ve been more clearing her directions. Despite her admitting this , she did not offer any apology or kind act of costumer service such as a discount or free item. I asked if I could be compensated for my time and inconvenience and she said, since my order was online, they cannot do any type of refund. No apology either. I then asked, can I at least have a free taco or some other type of item for my inconvenience. The woman argued that they will not give me a free taco and then another guy who claims he was the manager told me that he would not be giving me a taco and to go on my way. Finally, a nice woman who appeared to be another manager came up and listened to my complaint and understood the inconvenience and was able to give me a free item. While I was waiting for the nice manager to get my free food the other mail “Manager “was staring at me through the window and when I looked back at him he opened the window stating “don’t start with me you’re getting a free taco”. This was the same guy who quickly dismissed my request earlier stating “you’re not getting your free taco so drive along “This guy is a reason that the situation was escalated. I would not make a big deal at about this however, it was poor the way they gave instructions and I felt they were not giving good customer service when they couldn’t even give me one taco, which clearly does not cost much to produce. Finally, the manager who I talked with made it right, however, the other employees that I dealt with were very rude, unprofessional, and had a big attitude. From the reviews, I see that there have been other similar complaints to drive through pick up issues and they need to get a better system or give better directions. Aside from the one Nice manager, the rest of the employees need to learn how to take responsibility for poor directions that they give an understand how to amend those using good...
Read moreWent in around 10 pm tonight (9/23/19) cause I felt sick, as did my girlfriend,l and we wanted something we didn't need to cook. When we placed an order for the first things we ordered we were immediately told our total by a young guy. We were kinda caught off guard and said we weren't done ordering and tried to order a drink and were told to pull up by a lady. When we pulled up we were told a total plus the drink, so obviously they did hear us, and when I said I wasn't' done ordering the lady said that she heard me and handed me the wrong drink. The burritos we got were all haphazardly thrown into the bag half wrapped and the tortillas made up half of the item. We weren't offered a receipt even though we paid card, and I am highly considering coming back and finding out who the manager is so I can have my receipt given to me. To me, if you're not going to even care that me and my girlfriend are obviously annoyed that we were being talked to very dismissively, I would hope you'd give me my receipt so I could call and answer the survey and or call about my experience. This location is usually pretty good to us, but we had to go to the location on Staple Mill instead. We were able to order food without being essentially told to stop ordering when we had some other things to order, and we were treated a...
Read morewent inside to order, there were no customers inside and five or six cars in line for the drive-thru. There were two employees in the dinning area, one eating and the other on his phone. I waited at the counter for two or three minutes with no one acknowledging me in any way. Eventually the employee that was typing on his phone in the dinning room came around to the register and just stared at me, not a word from him. I guess he was upset that I didn't use the kiosk, which meant he had to actually do something. I placed my order then I heard a grunt. I said excuse me? Again a grunt, I said say again, on the 3rd. try I realized he was saying "name". I gave my name and then went thru the same scenario to get the price ( the screen on my side of the register was blank). I paid, he gave me my change and cup, then without a word turned and went outside and lit a cigarette and got back on his phone. I had ordered one item and when it came out the guy that had prepared it just dropped the bag on the counter and said nothing. When I went out the door the cashier was still outside on his phone and there was another customer waiting at the counter. The whole experience was absolutely ridiculous and a sign of horrible management. At least the food was decent. I usually avoid this store due to...
