On February 22, 2025, at 7:30 AM, I arrived for breakfast when the restaurant was nearly empty except for a man and two ladies who also entered around the same time. We ended up sitting in the same area. Mari, the assigned waitress, immediately attended to the group of three, taking about ten minutes to take their order without acknowledging my presence or informing me that I would be served shortly.
It appeared that a shift change was underway, and as new workers arrived, one even indicated that my order had been overlooked before walking away. Finally, a gentleman named Brandon—who was seated near the kitchen and had just finished his night shift—noticed that I had not been attended to. Displeased that I was left waiting, he promptly offered to take my order. At that moment, Mari was seemingly prompted by the notice of my neglect.
I was disappointed by the overall lack of supervision. Two floor supervisors were present yet did not intervene, and one employee was seen using his cell phone while standing near diners. This experience highlights a clear need for better oversight and staff training. I sincerely appreciate Brandon’s initiative and exceptional customer care, and I hope his efforts are formally recognized by the District/Region Representative. ...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would! I moved to this area a year ago and live less than a mile from the restaurant. Normally there are never cars there, but today I seen a few cars and decided to drop in! When we got there they told us it would be a 15 min wait before they started to cook again so we decided to wait and get drinks in the mean time (it was only two of us) and we ordered a Coca-Cola cola and sweet tea! She brought us a coffee and lemonade instead smh. That was the first strike. So then our order is taken. Other customers came in for dine in and take our orders that came way after us and guess what? They all got their food way before us. So I politely asked how long it would be and how is it there everyone else is getting their food before ours.Strike two! The explanation that was given didn’t make sense but yet we continued to wait! Then finally our food comes out and it looked burned and smelled burned! Strike three! We didn’t eat nothing or drink a thing! We kindly walked out! I would never ever visit this WAFFLE HOUSE AGAIN and it has put a bad vibe on if I would visit WAFFLE HOUSE anywhere in the future....
Read moreExtremely slow service tonight at 1130. Incompetent waitress who barely remembered our order. We sat close enough that I heard her tell the cook our order in which I had to correct. Asked for apple butter they were out so strawberry it was, well so I thought. Never got that either. OE eggs totally over cooked. Had to wait about 10mins before I was able to ask for a recook as the waitress and cook were both MIA. By the time I got my eggs my toast was cold. I was supposed to have a chocolate chip waffle, she brings a plain waffle and my husband's blueberry waffle with the blueberry nuggets cooked in. Had to get the plain one remade but hey that was a east fix just throw chips on top and that's what I got. Unmelted hard chocolate chips on a cold waffle yayy. Hashbrowns were burnt. Drinks were never refilled but then again she never checked back anyway had to ask for a box to take my cold waffle home to reheat to melt the chocolate chips but of course the waitress had no problem dropping the check immediately after the food and running off to who knows where.
