After work on Sunday, August 20, 2023, around 11:00pm - 11:30pm.... I went to the Wawa located at this location 14803 Warwick Blvd and ordered a Turkey sandwich on a bagel but unfortunately after arriving home & I started to eat the sandwich....it had a funny smell & taste to it...so much so that it left a funny taste in my mouth. So I immediately wrapped the sandwich up and took it back to the store around 12 midnight. This is when I had to deal with the rudest manager ever!!!!! He was not apologetic about the bad food which was to be expected....however once he refunded my money he did not hand me back my original receipt nor the return receipt. So I then asked him for the return receipt which he gave me....as I walked to my car I realized that I forgot to get the original receipt which I wanted because I had purchased other items that were listed on there. So I went back into the store & told him that I would like to have my original receipt as well. He then proceeded to get a I don't care attitude & proceeded to tell me that he didn't know where the receipt was because he threw it away therefore he couldn't give me one...which I know is a lie! So I told him that he should have given it to me in the first place...which is what most stores do when you have other purchases....he then started to raise his voice at me & then in return I raised mine's as well...because no one is going to talk to me any kind of way...especially when I have spent my money on spoiled food & was then highly inconvenienced because I haf to go back to return it....so he argued with me over not giving me back my receipt because I didn't ask him for it...and I told him that I shouldn't have had to ask that a good manager would have automatically given me both...the original & refund receipts! So this rude unprofessional manager yells back and forth with me over something as menial as this in front of other customers & his co-workers....he then proceeds to tell me to leave the premises or he was going to call the cops to remove me...the more I think about it I should have stayed right there and let him call them because I didn't do anything wrong but want my receipt....I would have made him look like the fool that he truly is....but to de-escalate the situation I decided to leave. However, before leaving I asked him for his name & the manager's name over him....of course he spelled out his name.....(and didn't give me the actual store manager's name)....like he didn't care that I asked for it....so I wrote it down once I got to my car & issued 2 complaints against him to Wawa Corporate. Who knows if I'll ever get a call but I submitted it anyways!! I have been a regular customer at this store for almost a year & this is my first time dealing with such ignorance from a manager or any of the other workers at this Wawa Store. From now on I'll take my business elsewhere to a more friendly oriented & professional Wawa....because I'm pretty sure they will keep him as a manager....but if they do here's some advice from me....one manager of 26 years of experience....to another....your customers is what allows these stores to thrive...and when you have a decent customer make sure you have a decent manager to help them and to provide excellent customer service when they need it. Also...maybe you can send him to a customer service training class....for about a year....because that's how long it will take to groom this one....it's just shameful how he lacks luster in that area! Manager=Customer Service....if you don't have what it takes wthin your personality to be one....then Don't Apply!!!! Honestly if I could give this visit across the board a -0 I would!!!!

Read moreWent to this Wawa again out of necessity, which is the only reason I return to certain places, this is definitely one of these places. This would be the fourth time I've ordered and paid for food and lattes, and have been taken for extras I've paid extra for, it's happened three times with food orders and once with a latte order for my wife. There's only one person, who's new by the way at this certain location. I really couldn't say for sure that it's an issue he's got with me, since I've never said anything but thank you to this person. I can say for sure that every time I've been taken for money,by not getting what I've paid money for, it's happened when this guy is making what I've ordered...so I guess I could say that it's an issue he's having, with a paying customer that's never had a word with him, good nor bad. I can also say for sure that.. it's a sad day for all but especially him that he would conduct himself in this way at his place of employment, and collect a check of any kind for it, it's essentially taking money under false pretences of my expecting to get what the hell I pay for. If I were this one I'd be ashamed that I acted so childish and couldn't even perform the simple task of giving me what the hell I pay for,but no I guess he thinks this is behavior that is quite proper in the workplace, he should study up on the employer,employee,customer, etiquette do's and dont's, as in do not deliberately rip off a paying return customer multiple times ,I would fire him immediately, but he doesn't work for me, nor will he ever have to worry about me buying a thing there as long as he...
Read moreTerrible , Im treated like a 3rd class citizen, I fear walking in this particular store, the morning management lady the black lady who is normally in the deli area makes an example out of me, insults me , and makes me avoid that store , but sometimes I have no choice but to go there due to location of where Iam and the fact Im currently without a car. This black manager lady constantly misgendered me as I am a transgender woman who does not have it easy to begin with this person goes out of their way to misgender me multiple times per visit I have to correct this person every time and they still go on and thus making snide comments either out loud or under their voice under their breath that I can hear and others can hear everybody that I know but I speak to regularly I tell them how much I do not like going to there and how I try to avoid that location I plan to talk to corporate and let them know how I feel one day I walked in there a month or so ago and I was in such a rush to get out of there because I feel so uncomfortable when I go in there accidentally forgot to pay for a sandwich now I don't know if it was a person at the cashier desk or something I don't know butt I was made an example out of for that as well and now I get treated and not only bad for my gender dysphoria but I get treated like a thief so I point out every time for them that I paid now when I realized that I did not pay for what I had ordered and I had come back and make sure that I paid for what I had.
