Beachside Billy's — Restaurant in Volente

The views from this restaurant are beautiful, the attitude of the waitress and whom i pressume is the owner is not. We set a reservation for 30 people, family members whom have traveled from 16hrs+ to hang out and enjoy some music, which we've been told was an enjoyable experience at this restaurant. When we reached the restuarant the kids went down to the volley ball pit to play. And the adults went to look at the water. While we were getting our orders in the waitress informed us they would be taking one of the tables we reserved, due to the kids not being seated at the table and 6 of the 16 adults not sitting down. Being a large party I tried to inform them although they werent sitting immediately once the food got there, there would not be enough seats, they didnt care. Thus resulted in the children sitting to eat and the adults standing waiting for them to finish so we could go.

Im very disappointed in how the staff handled this situation. Our party of 30 was present but enjoying the things the restaurant offers such as the volley ball court and the beautiful views. And they deemed it unconventional it would have been nice to know that before we ordered the kids food that if we werent present at the table the whole time, they would take the table, we would have chose a...

The other week I took my family to Volente Beach for the first time for Jaws On The Water. Let’s just say it did not disappoint! Reasonable prices for park entry, you get your own floaty, and it has access to the lake, which makes it different from any waterpark we have been to. Although there were not many rides, the kids had a blast and definitely took advantage of everything this place had to offer! The food and drinks were great but what made the whole experience better were the friendly restaurant staff. As soon as we walked in the staff were all smiling and it felt like a very welcoming environment. On top of that, the food came out relatively quick despite it being busy around the park and the workers were very accommodating to our order which was greatly appreciated because my son has a severe peanut allergy! Plus outstanding service from all the hardworking bartenders on the dock during the movie! More specifically I wanted to shout out to bartenders Connor and Colin who made us great drinks throughout the day and provided insight on other local areas where we can bring the kids! Overall, we loved our time at Volente beach and will definitely be bringing our family back...

Our lives just wouldn’t be the same without Beachside Billie’s! The managers, stuff ans owners are friendly , welcoming , professional and provide such a great environment for building community. I have been taking my kids there since they were babies , and this amazing place has delivered great memories at any stage and age ! We love the burgers , pizza and fries. My favorite burger is the beachcomber and my boys love the WTF , my daughter is a vegetarian and she usually devours the nachos . The drinks are delicious and the bar tenders are very accommodating and patient with picky personal requests ( guilty as charged 🙈🙈) Their events and fun and entertaining also provide such a great support for local musicians. It has become my children and their friends and their families favorite place to hangout. No matter what season, there is always something...
