Hardee’s — Restaurant in Vonore

Understaffed, under caring, and everytime i go they mess up something on my order. The patties taste rubbery, the oil tastes like it hasn't been changed in a while (or if they do they don't clean out the fryers) and I hate the new buns. They don't carry the other ones except in a very small size, nor do they inform you of this. I asked for a half lb burger with the normal bun and it was meat hanging over all edges, the tomato was hard and white in the middle and the lettuce was wilted and rubbery. I asked for no onion but of course there was onion on it. I asked for no ice in my drink, and you guessed it, ice was in the drink. My husband still visits this restaurant, but then again our choices are this Hardees, Mcdonalds, Countryside, SmokenBones, Mexican, italian or gas station food. That may seem like a lot of choices, but year after year after year these get old, fast! I personally like Hardees, just not this one.

My boyfriend had to work later than normal and so we stopped at Hardee's in Vonore around 8:40pm. They close at 9pm. Crystal was friendly and helpful. This was our second time going to a Hardee's. Crystal was also handing out the food through the drive-thru window. She apologized for the wait and explained that only she and the manager were working. Two workers had called in that evening. My food was hot! Big, huge plus! I took off a point for food quality because the burger had a weird taste. The drive thru was packed! I guess everyone was hungry at the same time and decided to stop at Hardee's. These workers hit it out of the park. Amazing customer service. I was impressed! Last few times I went to Hardee's, the experience was horrible. This last time and my last, they had no tea, drive-thru worker was very cold and very short. No "thank you" or "please pull around". I ordered a kids meal and when they handed me my bag for the other items, the bag was stuffed to the top. Was impossible to close the bag in order to keep the food warm until I got home. They informed me the kids meal was in the same bag as the other food. All food was squished. No kids meal toy. They forgot the kids meal drink. Received no receipt for my order. No customer service at all. Employee was very cold. I understand being short staffed but at least have some type of customer service skills and common sense. Will definitely not be going back. I would rather take my chances of getting food poisoning at McDonald's than return to...
