No photos! This place is a hidden Gem! I asked my Son to choose a place for our special celebration dinner! He chose well! Forget Ruth Chris or Outback Steakhouse, this gourmet chef has better training and knows good food Science that will wow the Midwest pallet! My meal was off the main menu as was my Sons. He chose the breaded Walleye knowing that it is probably the freshest local fish. He only sampled the meal because we enjoyed the appetizers, bread and Salad that were proportionately filling. I enjoyed the Petite Fillet that was prepared a perfect Medium (just a touch of Red in the middle). I pared it with the mashed potatoes which were just as chunky as Real mashed potatoes should be and a side of gently steamed broccoli (per Dales suggestion). We had more than enough left over to take home to my son’s pregnant wife! She will most definitely enjoy the left over fried cheese curds and the freshly baked peanut butter pie (this one is far better than anyone I ever tasted before). I value the integrity of this establishment as they did indeed card my young adult son even though he ordered a non alcoholic beer. I am having a Dry Feb (mostly dry-Go Eagles…or Chiefs) I enjoyed a delicious cup of coffees while waiting for my son to get out of his office. You can probably even watch the big game this weekend from their beautiful mahogany bar that is the center of the whole establishment and everyone knows everyone. I think I found the ā€œcheersā€ of Wabash (well my son did anyways). The special drink was definitely something I would have wanted to try if I hadn’t just flew in from Canada for this scheduled dinner date. Last but definitely not least was a beautiful server! You can tell she loves what she does and she does it well!!! I wish I had budgeted more because she deserved a 110% tip. The photo is simply proof they do exist and we found Bumblebee just a few minutes away from this hidden gem. This place is top rated in my book and receives all of the awards I would give in fine friendly dining. Even the bathrooms were cleaned during dinner rush and After!!! šŸ¤©āœØāļøšŸŒŸšŸ’«šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ„šŸ“šŸŸšŸ„—šŸ„–šŸ“šŸ„©šŸ„¦šŸ§ˆšŸ½ļøšŸ°šŸ»šŸøšŸ„‚ā˜•ļøšŸ„ƒšŸš±šŸ‘©ā€šŸ³

Best service we have ever had while dining there. When you get offered a refill on your water!!!! Dishes were removed promptly. All was going great until about the fifth bite in on the drunken chicken and just before I popped the sixth bite in I felt it, the most dreaded thing, a long hair hanging out the chicken breading and wine sauce. We called the waitress over and she promptly took it back and said they would bring a new one out. We were then promptly met by the manager I believe. She then apologized and stated they were making a new one and dessert was on them. The great service continued on until we departed. My husband looked at me and I at him.....you should wear that work shirt in here more often, we have gotten the best service! When your boss is there boss! Five stars on the atmosphere if we hadn't been sitting beside two guys that were conversing loudly the entire time we were there followed up by three more behind us and it started off with speaker phone calls lol.

Update 3-18-2023: Had the stuffed Pork Chop. Oh my goodness! It was amazing. This is my 3rd trip to Market Street Grill and I can assure you it will not be my last. Another fabulous experience in the books. Thank you Market Street Grill for being a expected (or better!). Everything was fantastic. We were just out abdominal about, It was dinner time and we were hungry. There was ZERO wait for a table which was great. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive but not overbearing. I had fish and the wife had steak. Everything from the bread, appetizer, salad and main course was wonderful. Wife had dessert which she said was delicious. I would highly encourage others to enjoy a dining experience at Market Street Grill. Also, to the women whom have the 1 star review..... The Boars head on the wall was fabulous. We'll be back, thank you Market Street Grill!

I have dined here for almost ten years, never had any major problems. Talked up this place and recommended to several people. Have been dining up on the private balconies several times this year. Last night unfortunately will be my last. Saturday night, 8-29-2020, 7:30 reservation. Got there early and table was ready. So far so good. We got our alcoholic drinks and our water was brought in big red plastic tumbler cups with Coca/Cola on them, seriously? They ALWAYS bring the water in nice GLASSES. Ok..... we get our appetizer, then our meal. Get close to being finished with dinner when about a dozen giggly young women come in, obviously part of a wedding. The waitress comes back and asks about dessert, I order my usual, the coconut cream pie. I’m wanting another drink when she comes back, no big deal, right? Well when she comes back, I get the check and my expensive coconut cream pie is in a styrofoam box! Seriously?!? She says she didn’t know if I wanted it there or to go.... maybe because she never asked! So I had to sit there and eat my dessert out of a styrofoam box! No, she was too busy worried about the giggling women and was ready to get rid of me and my wife!

Every time I go there I spend $100.00 plus. I reckon I’ve spent nearly ten thousand dollars there over the years. I hope that snubbing off loyal customers was worth taking care of a dozen women who will probably never be back.

Majorly disappointed Market Street Grill! You really dropped the ball this time.

99.9% chance I will never be back. I’ll take my business across the way over at Twenty.

So UPDATE. Wife and I decided to start going there again despite reading that they sold out to some kind of corporate conglomerate. We met some friends there last night (New Year’s Eve 2021). Service was good but food was well below average of Golden Corral! Wife’s filet was dry and cooked below the requested medium well, and my New York strip, which was ordered medium, was RARE! This place has deteriorated badly in the last 12 months. Have decided that the only reason we will go there again is for the drinks. Marcia is an EXCELLENT bar tender! We will order a food item that they can’t screw up…..like a...

Difficult review to write. 2 for service had nothing to do with our waitress - just how customers are appreciated (or not) by management. 2 for food quality is because of the one item mentioned below. The rest of our food was delicious. Have loved this place for years! Last night I ordered potato skins - the first bite I took was rotten potato. Luckily I ā€œsawā€ the rot in the part left on the skin after my bite, so I didn’t swallow it. The server and manager were quick to apologize and asked if I wanted something else off the menu in lieu of the skins. I declined - wasn’t really feeling hungry. The server came by a couple of times to check on my and was very sweet. My issue is this: I was served rotten food. All the management did was take that item off my bill - excuse me - of course I wasn’t paying for that - I didn't eat any of it! In my opinion, as a customer service good faith gesture, at least my entire meal should have been comped (I remember the days when my entire bill would have been comped). No gift card to entice me to return. Basically they did nothing but apologize. That isn’t up to my standards and I doubt I will be returning here. In comparison, at the Wabash Culver’s several weeks ago, 3 in my party ordered a mixer. None of them were actually mixed well, so all the ā€œfixinsā€ were on the top half. We didn’t complain - it happens - we were still able to eat it. The manager just happened to be going through the table area checking on customers and asked if everything was OK. We let her know about our Mixers, but were very clear with her that it wasn’t a bid deal to us, but since she asked we thought she might want to know. She apologized and gave us each a card for a free mixer next time we visit. Not…THAT…is proper customer service and I will gladly return to Culvers in the future! Market Street Grill - at the prices you charge - I expect more customer service! And others...
