Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Waco

I went here last night and I parked in the parking lot so I could eat my food since there was no place to eat inside. After about 10 minutes a lady who I assume was the manager began to scream at me from across the lot. I could not understand her due to the noise from the traffic and I wasn't sure she was talking to me so I continued to eat my meal. She then got a phone in her hand, I assume to call the police and looked straight at me. After this a worker came out and told me I had to move my car. When I showed him my food and cup, he quickly apologized and said I could stay as long as I wanted to. There was no reason for the manager to yell from across the parking lot and threaten to call the police without accessing the whole situation. Their customer service skills are poor at the East Waco location. They were laughing , being very rude , and being disrespectful to their customers about the issue I was having with them. I am so disappointed and very upset at the employees. I loved me some churches chicken. I been going to church's for years but now my feelings are so hurt behind the whole scenario. I found a spider crawling around inside my church's chicken bag. I smashed the spider with a napkin. After that I was so scared to eat the chicken. I just threw the whole box of chicken away. I'm so angry at the fact that they did not handle my situation correctly. I always spend money with them no matter if it's big or small. I'm very unhappy and dissatisfied with their service especially how they handle that...

The chicken was hot, but the service was not. The peppers were super soft, almost a mush consistency. My first time back in 14 months. And still poor service (smh)The cashier stares at you to get you to order no hello or any other greeting. Yet they are laughing and yapping it up with the other to co workers in the building. Because of location I on this place will always sell . But it is a great reminder that no matter how much remodeling and paint on the building . Not change the type of staff. Church's continues to not push customer service or hold the workers accountable.
