New Style — Restaurant in Wadsworth

I used to frequent this place. Around 6 months ago I ordered take out and it was just "okay" so I waited a while to order again. Tonight we tried it once more and it was just above the level of what I would consider edible. The fried cheese wontons were undercooked. There was no flavor or even the normal seasoning to the house special lo mein. There was very little pork, ONLY pork and NO vegetables, in the fried rice which was also undercooked. There was hardly any sauce or spice on the General Tso's chicken. I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be THE place to get Chinese take out, even though there were a few places closer to my house. Every single item in my last order was under cooked, under seasoned, missing ingredients, or a combination of all three. The buffet in Wadsworth now has better food than New Style and New Style used to blow the food away at ANY buffet. i really don't usually write reviews but as someone who works in retail i never would've expected disrespect like this. i placed an order at new style, i meant to place this order for china express, as i looked over the website i couldn't find a button to cancel the order, i then called new style and did not get an answer. i felt horrible for not being able to cancel but figured, hey, someone will eat it. they called me 20 minutes later saying my order was ready, i had responded saying that i tried already to call and cancel the order, the man had said "you're trying to cancel the order? we have been waiting, we close in like 2 minutes." i apologized, and in return i got a scoff and got hung up on. the blatant disrespect dumbfounded me. i did feel really bad, but i feel less bad knowing that a worker who treats customers like this had to deal with it - and not a worker focused on their...

Never again. My family and I used to frequently order from here and the last few times have been awful. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and general tso's the other day and the chicken was tough, rubbery, tasted old for both of our meals. The sauce on the general tso's was so thick and gelatinous that it was unedible. Also the portions have gotten so ridiculously small. We ended up not even eating most of our meals and throwing it away. There are other chinese food options in Wadsworth but we have ordered from here for the quality, never again.
