East China Buffet — Restaurant in Wagoner

I've been to almost every Asian buffet within 100 miles (40-50) hands down the worst. I had actually been to this one passing through wagoner a few years back and thought it was pretty decent back then. The staff was not friendly and the food was just poorly seasoned. The bourbon chicken was cubed and in a watery soup. The sesame chicken was small overcooked chunks and very little sesame. I would have to say at least 80% percent of the food choices were seasoned or cooked poorly. The sushi choices were few and falling apart..The fried catfish was decent. I thought well at least I will enjoy some tapioca pudding but this is the only Asian buffet that I've EVER been too that didn't have any. The banana pudding had black bananas so I passed on that. Never and I mean Never will we stop there again passing...

Worse food ever. Been up since 7 yesterday evening throwing up! Food poisoning. So I called this morning and ask to speak to manager. They said he wasn’t in. I told them I need to speak to someone because I don’t wish this on anyone. They said it wasn’t their food that made me sick. Was the only place I ate yesterday other than crackers at home. The selection of food was bad should have left when I looked at the food bar. And food wasn’t hot!! So eat here at your own risk!!! I will tell everybody I know how bad this place was and managed had nothing to say for it. Hello...

The food here is really good. The service was amazing! Angel is so sweet! They have a good selection of stuff; though I confess to having seen a better selection of sushi for a similar overall price at Chinese/Asian buffets in Kansas City. I would have taken a point off for this but your overall experience more than made up for it The experience was reminiscent of a Gary Becker "taste-for-discrimination" explanatory paper that I was given to read as an undergrad.
