Got the prime rib, with green beans, French fries, and salad. The prime rib was good, and decent in size. The salad was really basic but OK, I just expected more from a restaurant, at least tomato slice or cucumber. Got Dorothy Lynch, which isn't a given any more in Nebraska, so it's a plus. The green beans tasted plain, but nice and hot. The fries were the worst part of the meal. For a $35 meal, there was only a value meal portion, not a standard portion most restaurants give. And they don't salt their fries, which is why the food is just meh.
I asked the waitress what was her favorite and she said one item, then she spouted off 5 other menu items. I asked for her favorite, not half the menu. Though I did get a refill right after I emptied my drink so that is a plus. The other issue I had was I got my salad half ate and then got the rest of the food. It was too fast, the meal shouldn't come out when the guest has barely had half...
Read moreWe stopped by for a bite to eat while out on a random drive from lincoln. We ended up by Malmo but the town had a lack of options and upon looking for other places this one popped up. I believe Fayth was our server, she was very nice and helpful.
We got the bacon burger and 4 strips baskets with waffle fries and onion rings. Both were very good, the burger was very big, don't double if you ain't hungry. All in all a great lunch and place to stop.
$31 for two people to be full, no complaints and handmade fries and rings at that!
Only con from the experience was a kid was at the bar, likely one of the servers I'm guessing. Not knocking the kid hanging out, rather props to the owner being cool with this. The issue was the game he was playing had a police siren that was unbelievable loud and made no effort to turn it down, but kids being kids, no points off for this.
Bonus: TV's in the bathroom so no...
Read moreWe picked the busiest time of day Saturday to grab food here, but it was worth it. The place was packed, but we were able to grab a small table in the front corner upon walking in. Our server was very friendly but moving quickly to get everyone taken care of. I went with her recommendation on the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was loaded with beef, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and cheese, and their homemade sweet potato fries were great. My son enjoyed his grilled chicken salad and fried mushrooms. My only negative is the lack of beers on tap. They offered 3 beers, but they did offer a decent selection of beers in...
