We visit VERY frequently because usually the service is good, the food is good, and the drinks are great! Tonight was a different story. We got there about 7:45. Had a young waitress waiting on us. Drinks were wrong (Not made the same as the 100 times before we had them) the food was mediocre at best. It was the most dry, over cooked, chewy steak I've ever had. And then we sat for 40 minutes without our waitress ever coming back around. We ALWAYS have multiple drinks. Not tonight. It was a ghost town until we finally seen a guy at the cashier stand. And paid and left. VERY DISAPPOINTING. And the music was crazy annoying and very loud this time....Hopefully just an off night. It would be a shame to drive to Fremont to have Mexican food when this place has been a staple for so long.

We went back this evening and almost had the same experience from the same server.... and Evelyn the manager caught our frustrations and stepped in and gave us some of the best service we've ever had! This evening was the example of the exceptional service we had become accustomed to from this place! So to the owners: Evelyn is an exceptional young lady and does your establishment all of the justice! Her customer service skills are top notch, her services is top notch, and her leadership is a force to be reckoned with! I dont speak lightly being many years in the industry...

We ate lunch there on yesterday. I was very impressed with the service. This place is extremely clean from the staff, to the whole restaurant and even the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. (Sorry I don’t remember his name to give him credit) We just had the lunch size which I s more than plenty of food. I had the chimichanga with chicken. The chicken was seasoned just right, tender and juicy. My husband had an enchilada which he said was excellent. We both really enjoyed the refried beans that came with the meal. We also ordered a small guacamole which was aaaahhhhmmazing! We didn’t have a margarita, but I noticed several going past our table and looked delicious. I would highly recommend going to eat here for an authentic...

Where do I even begin? First off, this is not Mexican food. Any self respecting Mexican would be ashamed of the food coming out of that kitchen. To say it's flavorless would be the understatement of the year. Real Mexican food is full of flavor and spices and wonderful goodness. My meal was anything but that. It was a watered down version of Mexican food in an attempt to appease Midwestern white people's lack of a palate for delicious food because the people around here expect their food to be as bland as possible apparently. Their menu is full of wonderful looking food and I tried the "Little of Everything" plate. I can't even describe how disappointing it was. Stay true to your roots and start making some good food! Do better. At least the...

Not a bad place to go for Tex-Mex if you're looking for an outing from Omaha or Lincoln. I had their Camarones a la Diabla - Deviled Shrimp and my wife had the Filete Tropical - talapia with Mango salsa. The talapia was very good. The shrimp was slightly above average. The service was quick and friendly. The waitress discovered that I like very spicy food and offered to spice up the shrimp even more than usual. It still wasn't all that hot to my taste but I'm a bad judge of what is spicy to most. The beans and rice sides were nothing special. The house margaritas were about average.

After waiting to be seated for approximately 10min, one server three tables occupied including ours. The table was extremely wobbly. Salsa was super watery, carne asada was crunchy, the shredded cheese wasn’t even melted and there was more lettuce then carne asada. The guacamole was old, and lastly my queso was as if someone dumped a cup of water in it to stretch out the portions. I could have sipped it like chicken noodle soup. Never check on by server. This place has done down hill fast. We won’t be returning.

We have had many wonderful experiences at Acapulco. We usually order queso to start and then split a meal because the portions are large. We usually go for the pollo loco which came out differently than we had before but was still very tasty. My mango margarita on the rocks was very syrupy but they’re usually better so I’ll give them a pass on a super busy Saturday night. Service is always great. Fast, friendly, and professional. Will be back anytime we’re in Wahoo.
