We visit VERY frequently because usually the service is good, the food is good, and the drinks are great! Tonight was a different story. We got there about 7:45. Had a young waitress waiting on us. Drinks were wrong (Not made the same as the 100 times before we had them) the food was mediocre at best. It was the most dry, over cooked, chewy steak I've ever had. And then we sat for 40 minutes without our waitress ever coming back around. We ALWAYS have multiple drinks. Not tonight. It was a ghost town until we finally seen a guy at the cashier stand. And paid and left. VERY DISAPPOINTING. And the music was crazy annoying and very loud this time....Hopefully just an off night. It would be a shame to drive to Fremont to have Mexican food when this place has been a staple for so long.
We went back this evening and almost had the same experience from the same server.... and Evelyn the manager caught our frustrations and stepped in and gave us some of the best service we've ever had! This evening was the example of the exceptional service we had become accustomed to from this place! So to the owners: Evelyn is an exceptional young lady and does your establishment all of the justice! Her customer service skills are top notch, her services is top notch, and her leadership is a force to be reckoned with! I dont speak lightly being many years in the industry...
Read moreWe ate lunch there on yesterday. I was very impressed with the service. This place is extremely clean from the staff, to the whole restaurant and even the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. (Sorry I don’t remember his name to give him credit) We just had the lunch size which I s more than plenty of food. I had the chimichanga with chicken. The chicken was seasoned just right, tender and juicy. My husband had an enchilada which he said was excellent. We both really enjoyed the refried beans that came with the meal. We also ordered a small guacamole which was aaaahhhhmmazing! We didn’t have a margarita, but I noticed several going past our table and looked delicious. I would highly recommend going to eat here for an authentic...
Read moreWhere do I even begin? First off, this is not Mexican food. Any self respecting Mexican would be ashamed of the food coming out of that kitchen. To say it's flavorless would be the understatement of the year. Real Mexican food is full of flavor and spices and wonderful goodness. My meal was anything but that. It was a watered down version of Mexican food in an attempt to appease Midwestern white people's lack of a palate for delicious food because the people around here expect their food to be as bland as possible apparently. Their menu is full of wonderful looking food and I tried the "Little of Everything" plate. I can't even describe how disappointing it was. Stay true to your roots and start making some good food! Do better. At least the...
