Our second visit last night was just as fantastic as the first. The experience at this limited seating restaurant is awesome, everyone there WANTS to be there and the hosts are so personable and fun and love what they do. That comes across in their unique offerings and creates a welcoming environment. The menu is so appealing, it's hard to choose just a few items; I want to taste all of them! We both enjoyed our crafted cocktails. The Focaccia bread is a must, it came with dipping oil last time, but now comes with a bowl of olives and peppers. They had great taste but the drawback was that the olives had the pits in them and were a little difficult to eat. Other than that, I couldn't suggest anything as it's perfection! We shared 3 of the pastas and loved them all. The star was the Peposo Pappardelle, the braised beef was so flavorful and the wide noodles went so well with it. The Gnocchi with a Lemon Gorgonzola Pistachio sauce was so rich and flavorful, loved it. We also had the Cavatelli which had great texture and the tomato sauce was very savory, another winner. We had the Panacotto Con Saba and Chocolate Torte for dessert, my fave is the torte with the fresh whipped cream and I tried the Panacotto and of course it's just as good! So worth the hour drive from the Tri-Cities to come here and if it's a nice day you could spend it exploring around Walla Walla then head to Waitsburg. I'll be booking my next reservation so see you about 60 days. And I swear, next time I WILL order the Spanish Sardines Chickpea Salad. They tempt me each time, and I don't even eat sardines but they look so good!

My husband and I are BIG foodies, we travel often; sometimes just for specific dinning purposes. Bar Bacetto was referred to us by another foodie couple and I had been watching for an open seat for awhile, so much so that it became a bucket list destination for us so once we got a res, we anxiously started the countdown. We drove about an hour to get there and as soon as you walk in the front doors you instantly feel like you’ve come to someone’s home for dinner; it’s intimate, tastefully decorated and you can witness just about every single operation of drink and meal making from your chair, we absolutely loved that. The service was upbeat and fun, they were quick on their feet and the transitions from appetizers to main plates and desserts were effortless. They put their all in it and it shows. We REALLY enjoyed watching the chef cook at the chef table, he made it look easy. NOW, the FOOD! Hands down everything that we ordered drink and food wise was amazing. As we are told the menu changes often, we highly recommend the focaccia bread for starts, it is exceptional. Overall, It was such a great experience for us and only short of an hour drive from our doorstep. We will be anxiously awaiting for our next chance at another dinning experience with Bar Bacetto again. Thank you for a wonderful meal and a perfect atmosphere for date night.

Mike & Erin are crushing it! This beautiful and intimate place is a breath of fresh air for the culinary scene in this area. The warm atmosphere, delicious food and incredible customer service, it’s top notch (not in a stuffy way). Vanessa our server was perfect. She was extremely knowledgeable and her pace was on wonderful. Mike went out of his way to chat it up with us a few times and treat us to a wonderful in house made aperitif. I wish I had taken pictures of the food but we were so excited to dig into every single course. The Focaccia bread is out of this world! That’s coming from someone who dislikes focaccia. The Prosciutto Di Parma with Burrata is melt in your mouth good and the Rigatoni Ala Toscana is a must. Also for those who don’t drink alcohol they have a non alcoholic bubbly rose that is divine. You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this and a real rose. The highlights are endless. It’s not super easy to get a reservation so we would highly recommend you start booking now. We are so grateful for the epic experience we had here, for the owners, the staff and couldn’t be happier! This place is incredibly special. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Pros: Excellent pasta, great service, cool space, delicious cocktails, not too expensive. Cons: Imported ingredients, Imported wines. We started the meal with cocktails. Aperol spritz and a Portuguese gin and tonic. Our server was extremely helpful and professional and answered all our questions. We had imported canned sardines, which were delicious, but it would have been cool to have something fresh. For dinner there is pasta. For the prior comments stating this is a Michelin star restaurant, they may have built up our expectations too high. There were no grilled meats or main courses outside of pasta dishes. With that said the pasta were amazing. I ordered one with calamari, (a non local ingredient). It was prepared well and the pasta had just the right chew. We asked if they served local wines, but unfortunately for us, they only had Italian wines on the menu (our first night in the area, hoping to try something made locally). If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, you have come to the right place, complete with vino santo and a cookie for dipping to finish. My wife and I just wished there had been more local products included in the dishes since they are surrounded by local produce. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone stopping...
