McDonald's — Restaurant in Wakarusa

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS EXPERIENCE. So angry, I have to leave a review they won't read or care about. Ordered at 12:10 on the mobile app. I wait, and wait, and wait. The rudest front counter person ever could care less about my attempts to inquire about my ONE BURGER nothing else I ordered.

12:40, yes 12:40 came!!! THIRTY MINUTES LATER!! I'm waiting in that cramped, fly infested, hostile environment for even having the audacity, to ask again after seeing 25 people thru the inside and the drive thru get served before me. Finally they send... I guess a "manager"? Not sure, since the place seemed to be out of control.

If she was was manager, she's managing self induced chaos. There are fundraising kids who knock on my door with more tact and professionalism than this "manager". "dID YOu oRDeR at the right place?" Shows her the receipt. "We don't have it?" Okay great, so I've waited 30 minutes for a burger I won't get, after I tried to do YOUR JOBS and communicate about the issue. I'D STILL LIKE TO EAT PLEASE. All this time, on my lunch break wasted!!

They go back and ask, "Do we have a Dbl Qtr Pdr here?" I sure hope not!! If i've been waiting 30 mins!!

I look on the app. WOW!! It still has an option to cancel the order? I cancelled. I'm not waiting 30mins for a burger you haven't even made yet, after TRYING TO TELL YOU I've been waiting something is wrong.

"Manager's response, I can't make you a burger for an order you cancelled." YOU MEAN THE BURGER THAT I ORDERED THIRTY MINUTES AGO??? Was I supposed to pay, and wait and hope you'd magically find the order now?

NO APOLOGY! NO CONCERN! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! NO BASIC CUSTOMER CARE! NO BURGER!!! ABSOLUTELY...

Oh my goodness. This is by far the worst McDonalds I have ever been to... We went through the drive through and ordered a number 2, which is two double cheeseburgers, fries and a drink. We pulled up to the drive through window, they then gave us a drink, sweet tea and we ordered un sweet, so we just sat there waiting for our food. Then they came back at asked us what we were waiting on... We told them we still needed our food, and they asked us what we ordered. So we told them a number 2, one cheeseburger with only ketchup and one normal. She slammed the drive window before we could tell them the drink was wrong, then she came back and said we wanted two cheeseburgers, both pickle only. I was like... Where did the pickle come from.. So then we repeated our order again. And they came back out with two cheeseburgers, both ketchup only and switched our drink but we told them we still needed our fries. She left came back again and said they dropped all the fries and we would have to wait 20 minutes for new fries. So we then pulled up to wait in the reserves spot for over a half hour while 10+ cars drove past us. You can't tell me those people didn't want fries. I bet they didn't even tell them and those people left without checking their bags. Wow... Avoid avoid avoid this restaurant....

Anyone claiming that this McDonalds location is fast likely ordered when they were the only person there. This place is ridiculously slow, has a bad habit of messing up orders and likely aren't following company sanitary policies. I've ordered here past 9pm, and still had to wait 10 minutes for a number 1, mind you it was me and 1 other person there whom had already ordered. No excuse for that. The amount of times I've been here and they have messed up me and my family's order is absolutely absurd. Everything from ordering a regular mcdouble and getting a plain burger with 1 pickle, to ordering a 6 piece and them completely forgetting it. Lastly, the last time I ordered a mcflurry, it had a long black hair in it. This was years ago, they may have changed, but I haven't bought a mcflurry since. Wakarusa needs more fast food choices. It would put McDonalds in a spot where they have to deliver higher quality service or go out of service. With only 1 other fast food chain nearby (Subway), they won't. If you're in Wakarusa and want a quick bite to eat, I do NOT recommend this McDonalds. I do recommend the subway a bit further down SR 19 though. Much...
