McDonald's — Restaurant in WaKeeney

Update......wen through drive thru tonight and we ordered 2 pumpkin pies ..personally I thought the part of getting products sold was to upscale not degrade a product. Note I used to work in customer service....the person that took my money said itd be a 10 minute wait which we had already been waiting awhile so what's another ten minutes we didn't mind and told her that. Then she pops off "well they aren't that good" in a very rude manner...my family likes McDonald's but our experiences havent been the greatest for a very long time. Wish this could be fixed so we'd enjoy it as a treat like we used too.

Treated my kids to McDonalds because well why not they deserve a treat. Went to use our app for the buy one kids meal get one free. She rushed through when we went to order got the two kids meal told me the total $8.88 and to pull to the next window. Didnt even ask if that was all. We had more to our order I spoke up and got that done. Went to the window and she said the code didn't work. So we went inside after getting our food and paying to solve the problem. Funny thing she lied because we tried to use our app once again and it wouldn't let us saying we already used our code that we could redeem for so long. It doesnt bug me to pay for things but when trying to use a deal and being lied to...

This page was awful. We went through the drive through and quickly realized there was an issue. The was a line of 3 cars at a time waiting after the drive through. The employees were running all the food out the front door to waiting cars from the drive through. They didn't seem any busier than any other place or McDonald's. I'm not sure what the problem was. I'm use to having to wait like that if I order something special but this was every car. The food was horrible I got the chicken strip. I have gotten these many times and they are okay. Frankly they taste better cold. This time they were like rubber. You couldn't break a piece off. I tried to take a bite and it was like jerky. Finally half the piece ripped off. I have it to the dog. I also got French fries. They were completely bare. No salt. And cold. I would avoid this place. Very slow...

The front staff were nice and polite. The manager was very loud vocally to his staff attempting to make funny comments towards them so we as waiting customers could hear the convo; in one sentence he said something about the employee could be fired. His staff seemed to just laugh it off but made them slow to fill orders as they were distracted by his snarky comments and just stood around and didn’t do much. A total tool! So I give 3 stars for food quality and service, a 1 for atmospheric feel for manager’s behavior; It was plain unprofessional and a bit aggravating to watch it all unfold with each interaction with his staff.
