Classic Cafe — Restaurant in Waldo

Stopped here after going to the flea market saturday there was people in our party. Walked in the door wasnt busy at all for a saturday. Nobody greeted us or told us to seat ourselves. Our waitress name was Amber asked what we would like to drink and if we needed afew moments. My mother inlaw ordered an omelette with hash browns my boyfriend ordered country fried steak with onion rings my daughter ordered chicken tenders with onion rings and I ordered a portion of biscuits and gravy.also ordered green fried tomatoes. She has are order of the green fried tomatoes come lately golden well seasoned very tender they were very delicious got eight of them for 4.99.. The waitess came back and refilled our drinks and approx 25 mins still didnt have our food..approx.35 mins later the waitress came with our food..Keep in mind this resturant was not busy at all..before she lefted from delivering our food to us i asked for more coffee she rolled her eyes and said yea. Never came back to ask if our food was ok or if we needed anything which comes to the next subject which is the quality and taste of the food.. I ordered the biscuits and gravy it is the same quality and taste that you would get from a McDonald's restaurant meaning the biscuits or pre-made ahead of time in our Frozen and the gravy is a white gravy that is Bland and tastes would you have to add salt and pepper to it it's what you would get from a pack or a plastic say that's already pre-made up. Again their biscuits and gravy tastes like something you would get from McDonald's not what I was expecting from Classic Cafe.. I tried some onion rings from my boyfriend that he had on his place and it is the same batter that they use on their green fried tomatoes the onion rings were lightly coated which made the breading once it was deep-fried easily fall off the onions themselves were not a good thickness for onion rings when you think of a onion ring you think of big Rings a sweet taste for no onions and a slice thickness of toting slightly golden brown when they're deep fried not the case here Classic Cafe.. my daughter gave me a bite of her chicken tenders the chicken was a very dark golden colors the chicken itself to meat was not juicy it was actually dry. Saturday was our first and only time going to this restaurant very disappointing is no quality and customer service that we received do...

Burgers are the size of sliders, the Reuben's didn't come with any thousand island dressing and the corned beef was one slice thick and very hard. The service was questionable. They're horrendously expensive. For three appetizers and three meals, they wanted $61 and change. When questioned about the price they said there was three appetizers and four meals. When we said no only three meals, she reworked the bill. That brought it down to $48. We started to pay and she was reworking the bill again. That time brought the bill up to $54. We were like now it's more, and she tells us to just pay the $48. There was no ticket to view our bill. There was no receipt to show what we bought, or what we paid for what. It was just our waitress punching numbers into a cash register and writing down the total on a piece of paper. We didn't walk away happy or satisfied. We did walk away with upset stomachs. We're in and through Waldo often enough to warrant stopping. But we will never stop or eat...

Biscuits n gravy, eggs and bacon. Not too bad. Their sign says "real good". I can't personally agree with that...it's good but not "real" good. Place was filling up quickly after we arrived. Food took quite awhile too arrive to table... 3O+ minutes. That's a long wait for breakfast, to not be ordering something special. When we arrived there were 4 cars in the lot. Honestly, could use a good deep cleaning. Bathrooms we're useable but not super clean. Whole place was like a quick surface clean-as needed. Well used business with a lot of traffic. Good juke box sounds. Loud but good. Smallish Diner style place with booths and tables. Kitchen is partially visible behind counter with seating. Ice cream, burgers, breakfast. Outside seating is available. I'd go back, if I'm around that area again, to try a 🍔 burger.. love a good diner burger n fries. Price are more than reasonable. Less than $20 for two of us for a large breakfast x2. Oh.. their ice is fantastic btw! Soft...
