So the food was better than the average diner, the service was excellent. And I gave the atmosphere five stars because it reminded me a lot of lunch counters from when I was younger. It's a small place, but well visited even on an early Saturday morning. Crowd tends to be a little bit older, but not all of them and it was a mixed crowd. Mostly working people. Good place to grab breakfast or lunch. The lunch menu really looks good and I plan on coming back later today for lunch. Since I have to come to Walla Walla for work on a fairly regular basis, this is going to be one of my staple places for breakfasts and maybe for lunch. I noticed that someone had posted a menu, but it only showed one side. I'm posting both.

Hubby took me for my 1st visit! A morning date. I ordered the number 7. We split it oh, okay I ate most of it. They kept her coffee cups full in spite of the crowd. We sat at the counter invested with kitchen staff. 4 people kept the whole place hopping. They said it was not busy at all for them. Every seat was full a couple takeout orders and tons of regulars. Hubby had gone there for the first time in 1962 as a middle schooler with his dad. He ordered a patty melt then and learned what it was. Quite the nostalgic morning. Every one in the place seemed happy. Most people knew everyone by name. We were treated royally and look forward to another visit. Thank you Tommy's Dutch lunch!

I've been here a ton of times and am always recommending it to people. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the prices are perfect. You get a ton of food for what you pay for and as I sat listening to other people who had never been here before, they had nothing but great things to say. It's a little mom and pop diner thats super small but honestly the top breakfast place in my opinion. I included a menu since I didn't see anything recent online. If you haven't been here yet, hurry up!

Come as you are and listen to the good old boys talk about the latest agricultural news or bring a friend for a familiar chat, but self-seat anywhere you like or you'll look out of place if you wait to be escorted. Tommy's is old school family diner. The last word I'd use to describe it is fancy. The atmosphere is more like when a 50's diner has an oops baby with one of those off the beaten path, hole-in-the-wall greasy spoons; without the grease, of course. The kind of place I search for when traveling the great plains of North America. The food is typical Americano and filling. The portion size is adequate. I did, however, notice that the physical serving plates are proportionally larger than expected. I'm assuming that Tommy's is also a victim of higher food prices. More often now, I've noticed smaller restaurants executing more efficient cost and portion control measures to stay afloat. Nonetheless, order off menu for a more personalized dinning experience. I like Tommy's. It's unpretentious and welcoming. Look for it about .7 mi east of the Myra Rd exit, south side of US12 on Pine St. Best breakfast prices in...

First time visit.. and the LAST TIME traveling through the area frequently based on reviews.. Thought we should give it a shot...

OMG... When ordering was told no bacon - this is Wednesday at noon... ordered hamburger "the thing".. beef patty tasted frozen not fresh...... bun was of a type that disolves, turns to dough... not grilled, just a soggy bun... un apealing... Second order was Fish sandwich...was ordinary...fries under cooked.. the place was not really busy either.. bun did not eat.. same soggy turn to dough type.

Got to say the salad was fresh mixed greens.. That was the plus.. made the single star...

Additionally, Our window view was Staff, cook and service person, taking a break smoking, near front entrance... should be away from entrance and out back... tacky... would have been a " do not enter" if they were sitting there upon arrival....

Also, an unidentified ramp when walking toward tables. Stumbled but did not fall....

We gave this location a chance as stated - overall high priced for what you recieve. So dicided this is a one time...
