Washington Park — Attraction in Walla Walla

I grew up in the Washington park neighborhood area (still proudly reside same area🙂) Have to say, although the city has made lots of nice improvements over the years (splash pad, nice spacious soccer fields, pathways, ect) the homeless who lay around all day with their yelling and such make the park not so desirable. Their presence and numbers seem to grow each year. I know according to law enforcement the homeless are allowed to be there, but I cant help but wonder what would happen if a bunch of homeless were congregating at Pioneer park in a daily basis. First time at this park small is the only issue that I have. Slides are somewhat steep for small children. The scenery is well taken care of my son had fun running around the fields. I like all of the seating in the various different things to do never went in the bathroom so couldn't tell you how those were wish the waterpark was up and going sooner than June 1st.
