East Side Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Wallingford

I have been coming to East side pizza since I moved to that side of town in 1995. The best pizza in town.... Possibly the state. I have since moved to the West side of town, but still remain a loyal weekly customer. I pass by numerous other pizza joints to happily go to my favorite pizza place. They serve a Greek style pan pizza. I love just their plain cheese pizza, but I am older and usually red pizzas no longer sits well with me. I normally get a white pizza with eggplant, bacon and ricotta.(my absolute favorite) Or white with meatball and onion. East Side Pizza Palace is my go to for everything pizza. Their classic, Greek style is amazing. I always ask for my pizza well done, because to me, it could use a few more minutes in the oven. Veggies and meat toppings are all fresh and very abundant. The cheese is on point and the crust is a perfect combination of crunchy and chewy. I also order their stuffed breads frequently to bring with me when I go visiting. The subs are very good, my favorite is the steak and cheese with mushrooms and onions. I usually order the greek salad as well, which is loaded with feta cheese and kalamata olives. If you order 2 pizzas, they give you a free 2 liter bottle of soda too. The owner is very nice, as are their delivery guys....

Will not recommend this place at all my wige its a nurse working up the street went on her lunch break called to ask if they sell pizza becuase she only had a 30 minute break the men that picked up said yes she went there when she ask they said no so she order a small pizza when pizza was done my wife went to pay said the order was 11$ when my wife said apple pay becuase she dont carry cards with her the owner said no with attitudey wife told him if he had more payment options and he said no the owner instead of being nice and tell my wife to go get cash and come back or cash app or something throw the pizza in the trash ! This insane how italian ppl treat puerto rican ppl i will never will recommend...
