Pancake Review: A Fluffy Delight
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a stack of pancakes. I must say, they were absolutely delightful. From the first bite to the last, these pancakes were a testament to the art of breakfast perfection.
Taste and Texture: The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and light, with a perfect golden-brown exterior that had just the right amount of crispness. The texture was airy, melting in my mouth with each bite. The subtle hint of vanilla in the batter added a lovely depth of flavor, making them stand out from other pancakes I’ve tried.
Presentation: The presentation was simple yet inviting. The pancakes were served in a neat stack, topped with a generous pat of butter that slowly melted over them. A dusting of powdered sugar and a side of fresh fruit added a touch of elegance and color to the plate.
Accompaniments: The maple syrup provided was of high quality, rich and not overly sweet, complementing the pancakes perfectly. I also appreciated the option to add a variety of toppings, such as fresh berries, whipped cream, and even a scoop of vanilla ice cream for those feeling indulgent.
Service: The service was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that my coffee was always topped up and checking in to make sure everything was to my liking. The pancakes were served promptly, arriving hot and fresh.
Overall Experience: Overall, the pancake experience at PraJam Thai was exceptional. The combination of perfect texture, delightful flavor, and excellent service made for a memorable breakfast. Whether you’re a pancake enthusiast or just looking for a comforting start to your day, I highly recommend giving these pancakes a try. They truly are a fluffy delight that will leave you...

I enjoyed this a lot and the sauce that it comes with it very delicious. The portions are huge and they were cooked perfectly, if a little pricey but worth it for me. Previous review: I must have ordered the wrong thing because I genuinely don’t understand why this place has such rave reviews.
I ordered the chicken katsu curry and I have to say it’s one of the worst I’ve ever had and for the price I really did expect some great, high quality food.
Instead here are some of the issues I had with the food. First the chicken was dry, and tough. It seems like the food is not prepared to order (which I understand) but this seems like it was cooked hours ago and merely reheated for my to go order. Second, the chicken was incredibly oily and the batter was not light and crispy. It was quite stodgy and too crunchy. The curry is not really a curry instead it’s a curry flavored gravy, which I guess is ok, but for the price it really did just taste like regular generic gravy and I was not impressed. Rice was rice, which you can’t really get wrong, but the potatoes were pretty bad. They tasted mealy and had no flavor at all and were just barely cooked.
The egg was great though, but I can’t give this place any higher than one star based on perfectly cooked eggs when it’s an expensive place and you can get A LOT better at other places for less.
Honestly, not impressed sadly cause their pictures look...
Read moreNothing but amazing. Amazing food. Amazing flavors. Amazing service. We went around 930AM so the outdoor patio was empty and it was nice and quiet.
The service was impeccable. They checked on us regularly and made us feel very welcome. PUPPY FRIENDLY!! They showed our sweet pup love with pets and a bowl of water.
The only downside was the bees outdoors so be prepared for that. They were quite a nuisance but that’s only if you are sitting on the patio.
We had the poutine, the hangout omelette and my wife had one of their specials. All fantastic. We raved about the curry gravy and they even brought us a small container to take home of just the curry gravy. So sweet of them!
