I recently had the chance to visit Kelly's Barbecue in Walnut Grove, Georgia, which has been a must-stop for me whenever I pass through the area. However, this time around, my visit left me greatly disappointed.

I ordered my usual barbecue sandwich with coleslaw and pickles, toppings that I believe complement it perfectly. To my dismay, even though I was charged for these extras, they were missing from my sandwich. This oversight led me to discard the sandwich, which was disappointing and frustrating.

What added to my disappointment was the apparent lack of attention from the two young girls who were preparing the food. They seemed preoccupied with something other than their job, which affected the quality of the meal and the overall experience.

Typical Georgia BBQ place, was very busy but the air-conditioning was absolutely inadequate so that starts everything out bad, you can't have BBQ without flame and smoke folks!!! Sliced pork was extremely dry, sliced to thick and zero seasoning, the ribs were terrible and I could be wrong but I believe they deep fried them, the sauces were the typical vinegar based blah sauces nothing special but to be expected in Georgia. Desert was a premade key lime " pie" that was vac sealed in a plastic container with peel off plastic on top, gas station desert.
