last sunday i was in a minor car accident outside of the waffle house establishment. luckily it was only a fender bender. due to the âexcitementâ of the the incident, me and my three year old autistic son decided to get some waffle house to soothe our nerves. upon entering the waffle house i was hit with the most delicious smell of waffles and syrup. my sense were overcame by images of soft waffles drenched in syrup with a side of crunch toast and crispy bacon. i took my seat only to be instantly greeted with a smile. my son joyously sang along to the raisin toast song as it played over the loudspeakers. my waitress, ella, sang along with my son as she took his order. for the past three days my son has been asking when he can see ella again. i ordered the all star meal which was brought to me with haste. the tall blonde fella who cooked my meal made the best all star iâve ever had. i took a bit of my waffle and gasped. the flavors melted on my tongue. the gooey syrup and soft fluffy waffle had my eyes rolling back in ecstasy. i donât remember eating my meal due to the speed in which i had consumed it. waffle house, you have gained a new lifelong costumer. i am truly enamored with the gang of teen waffle house employees, the small bald boy, the green haired girl (ella), the petite girl with brown hair (hannah), and the worlds best...

There was only one cook and two servers, typical for Waffle House. But also typical for Waffle House, we were greeted quickly and very politely. As they were crowded it took longer than the usual âWow that was fastâ service they usually give but our waitress was very sweet and apologetic so we didnât mind. I was there with my young teen daughter and in the next booth was another dad with his young teen daughter. There was a large crowd of older boys, late teens and early twenties, and they were using very ugly language very loudly. I heard it but paid it no mind as my daughter had her earbuds in because she hated the music from the jukebox. But our waitress heard it and chewed them out for it, pointing out that there were young ladies present. I really appreciated that. And the young men, to their credit, said âsorry maâamâ and calmed down. Never a boring visit at Waffle House. The food was good, as usual. Like most everybody in the area, this was not our first visit to a WH nor was it our first visit to this WH nor will it be our last. If I had anything I might prefer different: The jukebox was a...

By the time we got greeted, he said that he was training someone and we started telling him our order, when he then said âsorry i spaced out, what did you say?â so we repeated it. we gave him our drink and food orders at the same time to get it all out of the way, he then goes and spends like 5 mins explaining to the trainee how to call out our order, he walks to the other side of the kitchen and hands out food, still has not gotten our drinks and weâve been there for about 30 mins at that point. we just got up and left, because there was no sense of urgency and no organization. and we were PARCHED as well, since he didnât spend that time just getting our drinks first which wouldâve taken at least 30 seconds in between everything...
