Crystal Springs Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Ware

My twins and myself wanted to try a new to us breakfast restaurant, so we picked Crystal Springs Dairy Bar. CASH ONLY !! We were not disappointed that we chose this place. The twins had the chocolate chips pancakes w/ bacon. Pancake were delicious as well as the 3 strips bacon. I decided to try the meat lovers omelette. Made with 3 extra large eggs, and stuffed with diced ham, sliced sausage, and chopped bacon, plus cheese, it was huge and great tasting. I could barely finish it, ever mind the side of great tasting homefries, that I wish I had not ordered. We all had chocolate milk to drink. Restaurant was busy, but there was plenty of staff. Stopped in on a slow Friday for lunch. I decided on a chix parm sandwich. I didn't realize it didn't come with fries. So when the waitress asked if I wanted them, I said yes. As I said, it was slow in there, but it still took almost 20 minutes for what should have been a 7-8 minute order. I will say the chix was cooked excellent, and the marinara was very good. But the mozz wasn't melted at all, put it under a broiler for a sec, it's not rocket science. The fries were a $4.95 plate of tasetelessness. Zero seasoning. Last, the waitress ignored me after bringing my plate. I had to waive her down for a drink refill, despite the fact that I was almost done with my meal. She never came by to check on my satisfaction. Crystal Springs has been a nice little place to dine in the town of Ware for many years now. Stop in for breakfast or lunch. Good, home cooked food. Prices are very reasonable. Service is usually pretty good, but it can be on the slower side during times when they're very busy, usually weekends. Great soup, burgers, sandwiches, breakfast choices & more! Milkshakes here are also very good + pie, ice cream & other desserts available. Only place in town where you can order a classic malt. Chances are you won't be disappointed here.
