Niko's Pizza — Restaurant in Ware

If I could give it - * I would .... Absolutely the worst service !!!!!!! Having worked in this town in the restaurant business for over 24 years , I have never seen such poor customer service in my life . Called in for a lg pizza and cold -cold cut grinder and 6 piece hot wings was told 25 minutes , after an hour wait called back and was told they just received a 300 order was gonna be just a little while longer . Waited another 20 min called back and by now it was an hour and 20 min from initial order , we cancelled . Checked my visa only to realize they had two charges for me , called them asked to talk to manger to see what was going on , was told $49 initial charge was an rover ring but next one was my charge . Told them order was cancelled to take both charges off and was told my order was being delivered right now .(2 hours later now) . Told her absolutely NOT we called to cancel . She told me I was getting charged .... luckily for these days in age with modern technology we have cell phones to verify when we called and when we cancelled And screen shots of my bank account also , cameras around my house to verify when my order ACTUALLY got delivered (1 hour and 45 min) after initial call .. watched poor delivery guy knock at my door for 10 min until calling I'm assuming ( rude "manager") Back at restaurant . When poor delivery guy came I had gone to McDonald's already for food , going by Niko's and seeing absolute no one in restaurant !!! Sure hope that 300 order wasn't being delivered . They will get it tomorrow . Will resolve charges on my credit card ASAP tomorrow . Have been a faithful customer to local restaurant !!! Their are plenty of pizza places I can order from . Customers have choices , restaurants want regulars ponder...

This is sad that I have to do this review, my family and I used to love eating here but recently we ordered takeout and yes granted it was very busy but that is no reason for attitude and horrible food the cheese fries were inedible completely burnt and stuck to the container, the pizza was so salty it burnt our tongues the steak grinder was dry and the it was toasted to the point it was hard when we said lightly toasted one side had so much mayo you couldn't taste anything else the other side was wicked dry. The broccoli poppers had this reheated old funky taste to them so we didn't eat those either then we also ordered the chicken strips and fries that was bad those actually came out pretty good yes the fries were soggy and the chicken was cold but that was edible. I feel horrible writing this I think the son? Someone younger was working and not the original person that usually is there because if he was the food would of been great but I need to put this out because we spent almost 80.00 that night and couldn't eat most of it. We did call about the cheese fries and she woman that answered was sweet and said could I get you something else but it was late and would of just cost more money to go out and the attitude from the man that was working that night I just didn't want to deal with that again. I would have given Nikos 4 stars, however in reading the reviews, quite a few were clearly trolls. And don't get me going on the kid Alex who commented that they "leave the sodas out so they're easy to steal"😡 And the 1 star review from "pandora " ends with "back to Nikos ", Perhaps she meant to review Lazers? I've been in Ware for a few months, and before I was settled in I was ordering almost every day for weeks. I told the owner "you're going to make me fat:)" I've had the steak bomb a couple times. Very good. Many salads, all fresh. Pizza very good. I don't recommend delivery. I don't think they have a designated delivery driver. I am around the corner and it took a while. So I always pickup now. The staff has been very nice. One time the counterperson overcharged me, but when I asked him to double check, Niko came right over and fixed it. The boy may have been training. As for people rating the "atmosphere " get a life. It is a pizza place. The dining room is clean, the food is fresh, and the staff is busy, yet friendly. The restaurant business is very hard. And I believe Nikos is doing a great job:) One mistake does not constitute a one star review. I almost never leave reviews unless it is disgusting or fabulous.
