Dinners Ready By Chad — Restaurant in Warm Springs

My husband and I were in Warm Springs visiting our son in law who is a patient at Roosevelt Hospital. My daughter had raved about Chad’s. She had been going there everyday since her husband had been hospitalized. Yesterday we went for lunch. Lucky me Chicken Livers were on the daily special menu. Wow just like my Grandmother’s were.. Best ever! My husband had Country Fried Pork. Our sides were Mac n Cheese, Collards, Rice and Gravy and the Best Homemade Biscuits. Top all of this with the awesome service , downhome friendly atmosphere makes Chad’s one of the best restaurants we have experienced😃 We brought home a buttermilk pie and I just had a piece for breakfast! I love everything about Chad’s! I eat here on Wednesdays (every week for lunch). You can’t go wrong with the dinner (meat, three sides, and bread). Or you can get a chicken salad (grilled or fried) and splurge on the cake. They make their own ranch dressing, which is amazing. Also, I could live on their strawberry cake, or the butter pecan pound cake. Most people would love this place. It was busy and very very clean. I ordered the fried green tomato and pimento cheese sandwich with fries to get something local. I normally eat very healthy (no seed oils, no gluten, nothing fried etc) but we wanted something quick. It was tasty but my brain is now foggy and I feel sluggish from the seed oils which are in everything. Later I learned there was a BBQ down the street which would have been a better choice.
