A Slice of Rome Pizzeria — Restaurant in Warren

Ordered for the first time last night. Worked a 10 1/2 hour day and just didn't want to cook. I ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza, the wings with the lemon pepper seasoning (I cannot remember what they are called on the menu), Cheese sticks and some 2 liters of Pepsi.

The Chicken Wings were very good and crispy. I cannot stand when the chicken wings are not crispy and these were done perfectly. The cheese sticks were really good as well. The pizza was very good and would definitely get it again. I am so used to a different chains pizza sauce that the pizza sauce tasted differently to me, but it was still a very good pizza. There was a lot of toppings on it and I liked that it was cut on smaller sized pieces instead of the larger slices that some places choose to do.

Will be ordering again, but will do pick up next time. Ordered through Door Dash and it was more due to the extra fees for the convenience.

I’m all about family businesses, above chain. First, called to find out about specials , woman who answered was super friendly and took her time with me, which I really appreciated. Second , appearance , super clean, busy but took time with every customer. Third, super friendly Most importantly the food, ordered the pizza and wing special , wings were crispy , full of flavor and omg the honey garlic, I would eat it on almost anything thing. The pizza, their large is like an extra large anywhere else. Full of flavor, fresh mushrooms , not canned. Nice crust. Please don’t listen to other reviews about over priced or not flavorful, the pricing was within every other place but taste put it way above the chains ,...

I had an unpleasant experience visiting this location the other morning. The food was disappointing—the pizza was mediocre, resembling a poor attempt at New York-style pizza. The sauce was bland, watery, and tasted like canned tomato soup, lacking any real seasoning. The mushrooms and onions had an off, almost spoiled taste. On top of that, the staff member assisting me had a strong odor and did not appear clean or kitchen-ready, which was very off-putting so close to where food is prepared.
