The Davis Bakery and Deli is a treasure-a precious jewel- it has a peerless selection of indescribably delicious cake and extremely rare, authentic and mouthwatering delicious old school Eastern European Jewish Rye bread. We had our first wonderful experience with Davis Bakery on a visit to Cleveland. We live in Houston, Texas and we order and have a special treat when a package from Davis arrives. A slice of their rye bread with butter or a piece of their Russian Tea Biscuit is as close to culinary heaven that we will ever experience and enjoy. Mr. Matt Martin a manager at Davis- is an extraordinarily dedicated professional, who goes far beyond and exceeds his job description- to extend every courtesy and positive attitude and attention to assure that customers near and far enjoy the Davis Bakery experience and blessing.

Staff at Davis Bakery are not very friendly and it is best to know exactly what you want prior to ordering. Despite the staff, their rye bread is absolutely delicious and I buy multiple loaves every time I am in the area. I have also purchased breakfast/lunch sandwiches and assorted pastries which have all been delicious. I'm a new local business owner. I own Import Automotive Repair. I wanted something for lunch and a friend said to go to this bakery. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with a side of macaroni salad. It was really good!! The bread was perfect. While I was in there and they asked what I want, I said I didn't know it's my first visit. Very friendly staff, gave me samples of deserts from bakery!!
