We just had my sons 7th birthday party here and I can not gush enough about how happy I am with the entire experience. It started at the very beginning when I was looking for a place. I contacted 6 "play" places in the area and Adrenaline Monkey was literally the only one that didnt make me feel as if I was a nuisance for inquiring with them. It continued via email with the coordinator and all of my questions; not once was I made to feel as if I was being annoying. Then there is the price. Out of all 6 places this was the only place that gave you the most for your money. I couldnt believe how little the other places were offering for the same amount of money. I felt it was going to be great and they went above my expectations. Our party host was absolutely incredible. She was kind, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, and so great with all of the kids. She never made us feel rushed through or as if she didn't want to be there. She put so much effort into making my sons party the best it could be. They have their party system finely tuned for sure. We never felt as though we didn't have enough time for everything and every step of the day never felt rushed or stressful. Even with other people and parties there it never felt as though we weren't getting what was promised plus some. The kids and adults both had so much fun. There is an amazing variety of obstacles, climbing spaces, and courses. The arcade was a nice bonus wind down time for the kids at the end too. The room was set up so nicely when we arrived as well. They had the tables all set with table covers, plates, napkins, and plasticware. They even had candles and a lighter ready for the cake. When I asked for scissors and tape then a cake knife because I forgot them, it wasn't a problem. The pizza was great quality, which was a nice surprise. I also loved the shirt they gave the birthday boy, it was so cute! Thank you so much for everything! 100% worth every penny. If my son wishes, we will be back for his...
Read moreI drive half an hour each way to bring my kids here for class multiple times a week and my kids usually do two or three weeks of summer camp here. It is awesome. The ninja gym is top notch; it's the kind of thing I would have dreamed about having as a playground when I was a kid. The classes are fairly pricy but the coaches are great, my kids want to go, and they come home strong, hungry, and tired. My daughters don't want to do sports, but they're getting a lot of the discipline and workouts I would have wanted them to get in sports practice. I love that they have adult workouts, included with a kids' membership, that overlap with the kid's lesson times, so I can be productive while my kids have fun. (Both regular workouts and obstacle classes).
Edited to Add: Two things I want to emphasize. First, they are great with all ability levels. You don’t need to be athletic or have a gymnastics background to get started. I’m heavy and out of shape and Chad (obstacles) and Andy (Monday night workout) do a great job of pushing me while staying within my abilities. Chad and Dean and the team are awesome with kids as well. My kids weren’t serious athletes but they were swinging like Tarzan after their first day of camp. That leads me to my second point: the day camps they run over holidays, school breaks and the summer are great and an awesome way to quickly build confidence. Kids love the lunches, I loved not needing to make lunches, and they learned so much. They felt accomplished after just a few days - able to swing from rope to rope, run up the small warped wall, try out the aerial course, and run across various...
Read moreOverall, we had a lot of fun at Adrenaline Monkey. It wasn't too crowded. We went for three hours on a Saturday afternoon.
The ninja courses weren't bad and a fun challenge, but there were definitely two that were for experienced athletes.
The only thing that really annoyed me were there were kids playing in the middle of courses or trying to do something specific on the course over and over again. It wasn't that big of a deal because we'd find something else to do, but we wanted to run the course for time (which is the whole purpose) and frequently couldn't because there were kids in the way.
We LOVED the rock walls and climbing structures. The belay system they have is great and after a while, they showed us how to hook up the harness ourselves. We did have to wait for assistance once because they need to check your harness and we ended up leaving and coming back because no one was there.
The ropes course looks terrifying for someone (me) afraid of heights. My five year old wanted nothing to do with it but my eight year old wanted to try. We couldn't since I was the only adult with them, so we'll definitely be back to at least try that!
The arcade was fun but one game counted my card points without starting the game a few times so that was annoying but it happens. I didn't lose sleep over it. Not a ton of games but good variety and just something else to do.
It'd be a fun place for a birthday party!
