DON'T ORDER THE BBQ PORK SANDWICH!!! I was so excited for it. I love pulled pork. Big let down is an understatement! When it arrived I couldn't even eat it! A pile of BBQ sauce on a bun (maybe a couple of strings of identifiable pork). I'm not a picky eater I will eat just about anything set in front of me. I tried, I couldn't. The bun was too soggy to even hold on to. That much sauce started to burn in my tummy after a couple of bites I that i did manage to swallow. The bartender offered to have it re-made, I was thinking, "Re-make what! BBQ sauce and bread no thank you, if I don't like it now why would I like another one! But I politely declined, I did say however, " if this is how they are normally made? I wouldn't like the remake." When she picked up our plates it was obvious I didn't like or eat it. No discount, no offer for something else. So essentially I paid full price for BBQ sauce and bread I couldn't eat! That gave me a stomachache ache for the rest of my evening. Granted it was 8:30pm when we got there. And the kitchen closes at 9pm. Maybe the kitchen should say close's at 8:30pm. I've got 17 years of working experience in both front and back house positions of a restaurant, never in my life have I had such a bad sandwich that I had to pay not to eat! Nor have I ever charged someone for something they didn't eat because they didn't like it. I've never given a bad review for anyplace. But I've also never had that happen to me before. Sorry but it really did suck! I'm always polite, and tip really well and rarely if ever complain. because I know what it is like to have a difficult customer. I don't want to be "that" customer. Friendly, professional staff who make your time enjoyable relaxed and fun. Karaoke Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Great sound since it used to be a dance hall. Pool league on Mondays and 2 pool tables available to play on at any other time. Great food with a full menu served until 8 pm- resturaunt side open for all ages until this time- and good bar food until closing (like they clean the fryer and change the oil frequently). Kt your singing bartender is amazing not only can she can sing karaoke with the best of them but she will continue to serve you with a smile while she does so. The new bartender Karl is their master martini maker amongst other things (try his strawberry lemon dtop). Definitely a local go-to spot! Karl (the Irish gentleman) is absolutely fabulous as are the ladies that work there. We've come numerous times and the food has always been good and the service friendly. Karaoke night is fun and there's never any pressure to sing when you don't want to; you're free to sit and watch. Karl always gets mine and my husband's drinks ready as soon as he sees us, which is amazing since we're only in once or twice a month. I appreciate that Karl will not serve anyone who is intoxicated and will offer water instead. I feel safe knowing he will not give anyone alcohol poisoning. There's also a handwritten sign by the door saying they will happily call a cab for you and to not drink and drive. The prices can't be beat either!
