I think I found my new favorite way to drink wine"slushy" style.
It was absolutely refreshing and a perfect way to start and end the summer. Last night was the last day of their slushees offering and starting tomorrow they will have new wine offerings to warm you up including star aníses, orange slices added to wine, and hot chocolate.
The owner is friendly and inviting, her wine shop is intimate and chic but also kids-friendly, with a little play area for kids and some games and puzzles for all ages. You can also BYOF (bring your own food) inside to eat along with your wine. My ladies and I brought along some Thai takeout and deep dish pizza. It was the perfect place and environment for us to us to catch up, lend support through this crazy year, and celebrated our life stories.
I love supporting local business and especially women-owned businesses. Be sure to stop by and check this place out if you're in the area! This place is an A+! I especially love one side of the wall where it displayed a cool "mom juice" wall art. It's really a sanctuary for all mommies, ladies, and anyone wine-lovers alike. There is an outdoor patio seating area for summer seatings with string lights and heaters for the fall. Many options and fitting to smaller groups (recommend coming with 1-2 other friends at this time to keep it spacious for social distancing). No reservations in advance, walk-in only, but it's surely...

I said “no thanks,” but the hostess would not relent, which was extremely rude. After insisting multiple times, she eventually gave up, but it left a sour taste in my mouth as a serious breach of etiquette.
Reply to owner below: If you seat us at a certain table, it is poor etiquette to ask us to get up afterwards, regardless of circumstance. If a large party wants our table, that's not our problem. Even worse, when I said "no thanks," the hostess should have just left it at that. Instead, she kept trying to convince us for a while. I had to say "no thanks" four times before she finally left us alone to continue our...
Read moreEvelot Eve is truly a gem and one of our favorite places for top notch drinks and service. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable about wine and spirits and gives 110% service with every visit. Their dedication and passion shines through in everything they do to drink creations, service and the amazing events they host as well! My husband and I have frequented since it’s been open and have enjoyed their monthly wine club membership as well. We can’t say enough about Mo and the Evelot staff. Definitely a staple to Warrenville and...
