Towne Tap Inc — Restaurant in Warrenville

Went to als to order a pizza. (Mind you I've given plenty of business to als and towne tap). So me and my buddy took our motorcycles there. 45 minute ride. We ordered our pizza. Sat down in towne tap. I set my vape pen on the table. Not to smoke it just to set it down. Bartender makes a comment" can't vape in here" which I wasn't planning on it but still rather rude. Strike one. Me and my buddy take some tea out of our backpacks to sip on since we just got done with our ride. Bartender comes over and essentially lectures us like we're children in FRONT OF CUSTOMERS about how we come sit down in her bar and bringing our own drinks. Blah blah Then Proceeds to kick us out to wait in als for our pizza instead of the tap. We were actually GOING TO order some drinks after our tea but not after that rude ass lady had the nerve to treat us that way. If it's policy then that's fine, but there's a way to talk to people and this lady DID NOT do it correctly. Took everything in me not to give her a piece of my mind for the disrespect. Felt like she was discriminating us for being bikers or something considering she had the nerve to keep saying stuff. People don't act that way to others. Strike 2. They won't get my business, but als certainly will. She definitely lost some business that night and for life from me. Learn how to speak to people instead of making a complete fool out of yourself in front of customers cause all you did was make yourself look like a grumpy lady who's upset...

Juicy burgers, cold beer, the game on the TV, fish fry on Friday ... Town Tap is unpretentious and an excellent example of what a local tavern should be. I've been coming here on and off for thirty years and never been disappointed. Worst fish fry I've ever had. Long John Silver's might be better. Here's why Perch dinner: 2 small pieces with cold skinny fires, slaw 4 on a scale of 10 (very wet).
