Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Warsaw VA — Restaurant in Warsaw

I’ve been back in VA for a yr from Texas and have always ordered an off menu item called a “Vanilla Coke.” It’s three-four pumps of vanilla syrup that goes in a regular Coke. I usually order one a week from this location and only have problems when a manager named Christine is working. The last time I had an encounter with her, she threw a fit in the drive thru at me about it but relented and said that she had no way to ring me up for the Coke so she had to charge me for sauce. Ok, that’s fine, I just wanted my Coke. I go through drive thru today, to order my Vanilla Coke and she starts accosting me in the drive thru about how “we’re not a Texas store and I need to go somewhere else if I want one.” Really? After you made me one the last time, now I can’t get it here anymore? I called the DQ in Mechanicsville and the manager there told me that they make them -all- of the time and that she was going to send me her District Manager’s phone number since I have her on...

If I could leave zero I would. When they first opened they were great, but they’ve gone downhill, and very quickly. After messing up orders for 6+ months, when I called to voice my issues after entire order was messed up, I was met with attitude from the manager who told me that my orders weren’t being messed up because he was fixing them in the kitchen himself. Everyday, 7 days a week, for 6 months. Then he changed it to there was a day or two each week he wasn’t there. His only offer was to replace the incorrect food if I brought the entire meal back. Which wasn’t possible as my daughter had already flown through most of her meal. I told him I wasn’t able to do that, as well as my trip was over 30 minutes round trip. I told him all I wanted was for these issues to be worked on and corrected, and he said he couldn’t do that, only the option he had offered. When I ate here last it was with my fiancé, I had the worst stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea I have ever had in my entire life about 2 hours after eating. We overpaid for a burger, chicken tenders and fries, my fries of which I never received but the staff was so rude that I didn't see it to be worth dealing with. We ate, neither of us enjoyed the food very much and didn't feel very well afterwards. Evidently I got the worst of it. The ice cream was okay. I swear as long as I live I will never eat here again and I will do everything I can to warn others of the terrible service I received and the sleepless painful night I had after consuming this terrible, over cooked, poorly prepared nightmare that you call food. How this place has managed to stay in business in Warsaw as long as it has it beyond me because it surely can't be the "friendly staff" or the "good food". What a waste...
