CHINA INN — Restaurant in Warsaw

Decided to take my wife and children for dinner on this wonderful Sunday afternoon. The food was good, however the customer service was horrible. The waitress approached the table with the worst attitude I’ve witn. When asking for our drink orders, she was extremely short and curt while we were making our decision with our 6 year old. Whenever she did her “check-ins”, she never fully approached the table (while asking if there was anything we needed). She took a very loud and aggressive sounding phone call on the business’ line about getting a ride to fix a broken cell phone (I’m assuming this is what warranted her unfriendly attitude). The worst was when we asked for the bill and another lady asked us how many drinks we had, to which we replied four and one child. When our “waitress” went to get the tab, she loudly told the other lady I was lying. To which my wife approached the situation and explained we both had a refill a piece, except our daughter. The entire situation was uncomfortable and unwarranted. We will definitely be taking our monies elsewhere in the future. Customer service makes or breaks a business, and as far as I can tell, from the emptiness of the inside, it’s breaking...

Food tasted totally different today than normal. Hot and sour soup was neither spicy nor sour, tasted like gelatinous beef broth, very bland and somewhat old tasting. Several other items tasted off as well, as if they got a new cook who couldn’t find the recipes. Buffet could def stand to be refreshed more often. The soups and sauces generally have a very thick congealed layer at the top which is pretty gross.

The building was also very hot and at least 80% humidity which didn’t make for a pleasant meal.

Couldn’t recommend this place to anyone after todays dining experience.

Edit: For some reason my kid loves this place, so we decided to go for his birthday, despite me really not wanting to. We went on a weekend during dinner time. The food was slightly better than my previous review. It’s the next morning and I now have mild food poisoning and can’t get off the toilet. We went to this place as an alternative and were seeking a cocktail experience. Upon entering the establishment, it seemed very vacant and there was an odor of turned seafood about the place. The only employees we saw were an older gentleman and another lady, perhaps the owners? The only beverages they had were beer and wine. We walked past several tables that had not been bussed yet and took our seats as the gentleman wiped our table. The buffet was hot but the offerings were trim. I plated myself with some fried spring rolls and chicken teriyaki sticks and sat. The spring rolls had a vegetable paste inside them and were small, comparable to the Tai Pei kind you find in the frozen food section. Not appetizing at all.
